Q: How to clean the residue that is left behind?

I didn't have any residue left behind. It would probably wash away when you run it again!

Q: When I used this (the machine was empty) it created so much foam that it overflowed. How do I avoid that?

I never have had a foaming problem, whether using the normal wash or quick wash. Make sure you are putting the tablet into the closed detergent compartment.

Q: Do I leave the dispenser door open or closed after inserting the tablet? The instruction isn't clear.

I closed it because MY logic said otherwise they might as well say drop it in the bottom because it would do just that without the door closed. It seemed to work nicely. I have not tried it the other way as a comparison though but now you have me curious 🤔
