Great shoe for the price. Will buy again!
All in all, it's a great shoe for the price and I intend to continue buying from Whitin!Pros:1) Minimalist and zero-drop2) Comfortable3) Durable (put 400 running miles on them and probably have another 100 miles of tread left on them)4) Wide toe box5) Looks cool (at least I think so)6) Cheap! Purchased for $42.Cons:1) Heavy (much heavier than my Merrell VaporGloves)2) Not a true barefoot shoe in my opinion, but very minimalist and a good transition shoe3) Laces broke on first day (laces popped out of the Velcro connector, but still functions fine. Just a small annoyance).4) More expensive than other barefoot shoes on Amazon (but worth the cost in my opinion).

Good, cheap, barefoot style shoe
Been wearing Vibram five-fingera (the toe shoes) for exercise since around 2013, recently started replacing all my shoes with barefoot style shoes. This is my third pair of Whitins.I like them for the price. They're about as durable as any shoe. I tend to walk/hike/bike a lot in my 'everyday shoes" and only keep 1 or 2 pairs of non-specialty shoe, and these last as long as anything else (and longer than most VFFs).Comfort is good.I like the combo of laces and a strap, and this combo (as well as the tread pattern) is straight from the VFF V-Train model. The upper on these is like a breathable neoprene, very comfortable and decently breathable. I imagine it dries quickly, but haven't gotten them wet yet.Overall,a good shoe, especially for wide toe box.If you're new to barefoot shoes, they're a good intro. If you're a barefoot veteran, TAKE THE INSOLES OUT! They've got about 2mm of drop and the soles are thick enough to absorb anything in life or on trail. Also, at least for me, the quick lace section cradles my arches better without them.

Wow, so comfortable, great for neuropathy
Edit: (I have not taken these shoes off in a week except to sleep) Read the reviews, thanks guys, was looking forward to trying these.I live in Florida, so you don't need much, but I also need protection because of peripheral neuropathy. I was wondering how good these shoes would be. Wow, so comfortable, kinda plush actually. Fit firmly to the feet with plenty of things to adjust the fit of the shoe. Holds the foot very well without a lot of pressure. Some shoes you have to tighten here or there to make them fit, but not these. You know they are there and on, but barely. I can't comment on water resistantance, I have cheap shoes for the ocean, just glad to know they can handle water. The insoles are ok, I see what other reviewers are referring to. They are comfortable, don't get me wrong, but a good pair of insoles when the factory ones wear out will be nice. If you're like me, I was hesitant to try the good minimalist water resistant shoes. I have some of the cheap ones, and I thought, how can someone run over terrain in these? I get it now, these are worth the extra dollars, way worth it. The fit, the comfort and they look kinda cool. I would get cheaper tennis shoes to kick around the house and work outside. I seem to sacrifice something with the cheap shoes, I am going to get another pair of these. You don't have to sacrifice anything with these shoes, they are great.

Best gym shoe ever
I wear these shoes to gym class several times a week. Now several others in the group have bought the identical shoes for themselves. They’re light weight, easy to put on and take off, attractive to look at - and - best of all - comfortable, sturdy and good for the feet.

6 Month Shoes (You Get What You Pay For)
I've gone through two pairs of these shoes, and I must say they fit nice and are good imitators of more expensive brands. They are comfortable, fit well, and I like the velcro straps.Style wise, I am not a huge fan of how the rubber of the sole comes up and 'caps' the toes. Looks kind of weird. I can't tell you the amount of people that thought I was wearing 'toe shoes', like Vibram popularized. I just stopped correcting people after a while. The downside is, you get what you pay for. Both pairs of my Whitins expired right around the 6 month landmark. I used them for some light running, exercise, every day stuff, and sometimes took them in the water or mud, but nothing too serious. They just start to fall apart. The soles start to come unglued from the rest of the shoe, and in both pairs this began to happen a couple months in, but only really became an issue after 6 months. I suppose I could have worn them a little longer, but they were dilapidated. If you can pay twice as much for a pair of Vivo Barefoot shoes, I would highly recommend. Coming up on one year and the Vivo is still going strong, so, it's at least as good value wise as these shoes. In summary, fine way to ease myself into the barefoot realm, but there are much better shoes out there.

Fits like a glove
So I have always wore barefoot shoes. I hate regular shoes. I have a narrow foot so they are always a little big for me but this pare is not it’s the perfect fit. It’s extremely comfortable and as I wife puts it they do not look like my clown shoes. This is the most satisfied I have ever been with a barefoot shoe. They are also really light. Most barefoot shoes have some weight to them but not this one. If you love barefoot shoes then this is the one I would recommend

Best shoe at this price range.
I was looking for a flatter shoe for lifting weights. Specifically for deadlifts and leg presses, which seemed to destroy the padding in my regular running shoes.I tried on 4 other pairs of the sub 75$ workout/barefoot shoes that Amazon had. These were the only shoes that worked for me!The sizing is to true to size. These 13s fit me perfectly. Other brands seems to run small. In addition, this shoe has a larger toe box. So my feet could spread out, which is exactly what you want for weight lifting. Not sure about how long they will last. But they are very comfortable. I even find myself wearing these in the house. And for the price, its well worth it.

Love them
Comfortable, light, breathable, and wide. The feel is so much better than normal shoes; i feel like i can actually feel where im walking, but still have the protection of a sole.Much better stability. You cant walk on your heels with these shoes (youre not supposed to walk on your heel anyway). It kinda changes how you walk - you walk properly without slamming your heel. I found that my hip, knee, and back pain have dissipated since wearing these.I wear them inside buildings, outside, hiking, swimming, working out, ...everywhere.

Not breathable at all
They're a super comfy shoe or the price, but they're not at all breathable. I opted for their canvas shoes instead and they're much better.

One year of daily use
I switched to minimal shoes slightly more than a year ago. My first pair of these identical shoes are about a year old for daily use to wear while doing errands, heading into work. I even wore them almost every day this winter to work as long as the snow wasn't too deep. For a $60 Canadian shoe, these are an excellent way to decide if barefoot or minimalist shoes are "for you". I went to barefoot shoes to fix a debilitating plantar fasciitis problem. I wear these as my everyday shoe. I have xeros for indoors at work, and a true winter boot. These shoes owe me nothing. I have had more expensive brand name shoes that didn't last this long. I have recently bought my second identical pair just to have on hand when I decide to retire this first pair. Treads are starting to wear in a couple of spots. The heal in the inside wearing in a bit/could be fixed by some new inserts. One spot on each shoe is starting to delaminate on the inside edge of my foot where your foot naturally bends. For the money you can't beat it. I am wearing my usual size, so I would call it true to size. See last photo, I just noticed that material at one toe almost worn through. But $60 for one year of daily use, in ALL weather, no complaints
