Light my Fire Original BPA-Free Tritan Spork with Full-Sized Spoon, Fork and Serrated Knife Edge

Whenever possible I try and refrain from disposable items (I carry silicone straws and Flat-out Tupperware containers in my purse, and I carry fast food cups and reusable grocery sacks in the trunk of my car).Originally I purchased a set of these sporks for when I go backpacking, but I ended up getting a purple one to carry in my purse. It's durable but still pretty light-weight, so it's convenient to carry around to use instead of plastic spoons and forks. Salads can be a little awkward, but still doable.

Works great! This is a very handy utensil. I would recommend for anyone that needs an all in one for camping. Seams a bit flimsy but it hasn't broke yet. Seams like there is a lot of give but does not feel like it will snap. I used this on a recent camping trip and it worked great as a spoon, knife, and a work in fairly hot food.

This was my first purchase in order to address the lack of utensils on a carrier deployment. After a while of always being used it started to break. Bought the titanium version and never went back. Still used today for my lunches from home.Knife is not the best. Mainly used the fork and spoon. It will cut but if you have some tough stuff. Get a good knife.

This is a spork. Well, more like the Cadillac of Sporks. It is durable, reuseable, quality made, small, and fits perfect into the Condor T and T pouch i got it for. The ONLY negative I have about it is that the knife edge they put on it to give you a cutting surface will frequently drag across your lip or corner of your mouth. While it is not a huge deal on its own, doing it several times will lead to a "bit lip" equivelant injury. So either adapt to eating with it and moving around it, or just enjoy the spoon end a little more. These stack well into each other and i put 4 stacked into the above mentioned kit.

This item does not seem QUITE as flimsy as other people claim it is, but it surely isn't the strongest thing ever. I have no problems with the design, however, and despite other reviewers complaining about the knife portion being useless, potentially harmful, or both, I don't have any real problem with it.This item scales in a 0.3 ounces on my scale, as Amazon claims. For 0.6 ounces, a consumer could purchase the titanium version that Light My Fire also sells. I am likely to upgrade, and I recommend all but the absolute most weight-conscious camper to consider the more durable option.HOWEVER, if the consumer considering this item is looking for something to take along a "eurotrip" or some other adventure (and also for dayhikers) where the person is not quite as reliant on their gear as a hiker, I would recommend this spork over the titanium. I do not see a reason to spend so much money on the latter when this is almost certain all that they would need, provided they understand that this spork WILL break under enough pressure.

I love the design of these and have three in various colors. I have gone through so many reusable utensil sets and I always lose the fork or the knife or the spoon and have an incomplete set. This is awesome because it is all three in one. You don't need a set because the set is built right in. Just don't lose it! These are sturdy so they will last a long time and are easy to clean. The serrated knife on the side of the fork even works fairly well. Economical, environmentally friendly and so, so useful.

I originally bought one of these with a coupon at Eddie Bauer, and ended up using it way more than I thought I would. It makes a nice coffee scoop and stirrer, or a yogurt or soup spoon (it's great because melted cheese doesn't stick to it, unlike stainless steel). It's really best for light tasks, though - my last one snapped in the middle when I tried to use it to stir something with a little more resistance. That's why I'm getting another one!It serves as an awesome lunch or camping spoon, too, and comes in lots of fun colors. I bought the titanium model as well, because I don't have to worry about that one breaking!

Love these Light My Fire sporks, I carry one in each of my hiking packs, in my mess kits for camping, in the emergency bag in the trunk of my car, in my desk drawer at work and probably a few other places that I don't remember... My wife uses them in her packs too.They're well made, light weight and BPA free! The spoon is a good size, works with food or soup, the tongs on the fork are pretty sturdy and the little knife blade isn't terrible, you can cut through bread with it... also buy the bright colors they're had to lose because they really stand out against the ground.

Der Spork war wie erwartet,m ich nutze ihn schon Jahre. Aber am meisten hat mich der Service überrascht. Päckchen geöffnet und erst mal verwundert, es wurde zusätzlich zum Spork auch noch das Spork-Case Versand, inklusive einer netten handschriftlichen Nachricht. :-)Weiter so!

Article très léger que j’emporte toujours avec moi en randonnée. Très pratique, il n’est pour l’instant pas endommagé. Il a résisté aux transports avec les piques-niques dans le sac à dos. Il se nettoie très facilement.
