New Boxing Jumping Skipping Speed Fitness / Work Out / Plastic / Nylon Rope

Well I sort of knew what to expect from a skipping rope for this price. It is very flimsy, thin and it is pretty much the bare minimum that can be expected of a skipping rope. But, tt has several major flaws that really frustrate me when using.1. It tangles after a while of use. I am not sure if this is because I tried adjusting the length at the beginning and ever since one side has been slightly looser than the other.2. Sort of leading from the first flaw is the adjustment locking plastic pellet design in the handles. These little locking pellets on either side are pretty weak. I found that as you skip the lock becomes looser and looser until the bottom part of the lock falls down and the rope is let loose. For my skipping rope the top part of the lock was left tight against the top of the handle and the only way I could remove it was with some scissors, just to poke it down. This happened several times and it is one more tiresome chore that ruins exercise motivation when you are "in the zone".In short there is not much point in purchasing this rope..It only makes things difficult. You may as well go for something better quality slightly higher priced but that will help you in your exercise. I would not recommend even paying this small price. Two stars only because it does work as a skipping rope and I guess the colour is ok..scraping the barrel.

I started seeing my personal trainer again after a break for a couple of years and decided to invest in this skipping rope for cardiovascular exercise in between sessions as well as jogging/running. It is a good skipping rope and a perfect length for my height 5'8". The one problem is that it keep folding itself back up from how it was packaged. Each end is now sitting under a couple of heavy books to straighten it out a little and of course it will get better after a few more sessions with it.If you want a good quality and cheap rope then this is perfect. You just need a little patience to straighten it out!

The skipping rope seemed perfect for me and it definitely is. I'd give the product 5/5 if the handle hadn't have broken off 10 skips into my session. It was very easy to fix though so it wasn't much of a hassle, I expected it from the product due to it's very low price. For anyone short on money or doesn't want to spend too much on a good quality skipping rope for fun or for working out, this is the skipping rope for you!

Exactly as described and pictured, very easy to adjust the length by sliding a handle along the rope, unclipping the endpiece and repositioning it. If the clip were to break, one could simply tie a knot in the rope and pull it back into the handle. This type of lightweight plastic rope was recommended to me for my new efforts to get fitter, but I didn't want to spend much on it as I'm not sure I'm going to take to speed skipping - the first time I've tried skipping in over 40 years! My first 8 minute session, including just 2 x 45 seconds at speed, half killed me, but the rope's fine!

Firstly, the item I received was not the same as the photo I had seen right up until receiving the item. however, this was not so significant to me but should be noted if purchasing here.The second and most significant issue: only after two uses, the item has already snapped. Bearing in mind; I'm no skilled 'skipper', so to say, and I have only used the item for a total of 20 minutes exactly (timed workouts). I would advise not to purchase this item, it is is no way suitable for its intended purpose. Save the wasted cost and go the extra mile to spend your money wisely on something a bit more upmarket that is not likely to break.

I circuit train twice a day 5/6 days a week so good quality skipping ropes are an essential tool. This skipping rope looks like a very popular stringy candy.However, the weight and length is just right. In fact this rope does NOT kink ( like the more pricier ones do) is virtually tangle free and the handles are more comfortable to use than it looks. Its not too stiff and not too floppy ( like the fabric ones). For the price and swift delivery to match the quality- Yes! I highly recommend this product! Don't think it just buy it!

I don't like skipping in shoes but when I use this I have to because it really hurts to hit your bare feet. You can change the length of the rope easily but the excess rope (thick plastic) sticks out and can get in the way. I would recommend this for someone who wants to experiment with skipping because of the low cost.

This is a good skipping rope, if a tad too long for my height as I had to wrap it around my wrist, but it does what it is supposed to do and was excellent value for money.I am more than happy with it. :)
