I took this on a recent trip to Europe as a carry-on. It has lots of handy pockets plus can be slipped over the handle of luggage. Our water bottles did make it somewhat awkward.

Purchased this to use as an under-seat bag for a trip. It worked ok, but if I had to do it again, I'd likely get something with more padding and structure.Pros: entire bag is constructed of ripstop nylon, with a padded laptop pocket secured by a tab with velcro. Can close inside of bag with the zipper, so contents are secure.Pockets all around the exterior of the bag. The side pockets are wide enough to fit a water bottle, as long as the interior isn't packed too densely.Handles are long enough to slip over the shoulder, and has a detachable cross body strap.Has a luggage strap, but you lose the back pocket . (see cons)Cons: no padding except for the laptop pocket. The back pocket on the bag becomes a luggage strap - unzip the bottom and open the pocket, so you can slip it over your luggage handle. This is a pro and con, because while you have a luggage strap, you lose the back pocket.I would have given it another star if it were more padded.

Brought this on a trip to Europe. Super functional, worth the purchase.
