Relatively quiet and easy to use
My old coffee grinder bit the dust, so I ordered this unit to replace it. I found it to be quiet and efficient. It took a little bit of re-reading the directions a couple of times to find out it has two see-through plastic caps, and you have to secure the bottom one and hold the top one down with your hand to get the grinder to operate. I just run it for about 15 seconds, and the coffee seems to be the right consistency for my coffee pot.It disassembles easily for cleaning, and is nice to have, for sure.

Broke down after 4 months
It worked well in the beginning but after 4 months it stopped working and I could see some smoke coming from the wire.

Compact, strong motor, not too noisy, effficient. good for 1-4 small coffee cups
I am enjoying using this mini grinder for coffee. I already have 2 other Burr style grinders, both loaded with different types of coffee which I use regularly on a daily basis. I use this one to make a one or 2 cup pot of a different, ie specialty or decaff coffee, when I'm in the mood for somthing different. It's compact, powerful enough to do a good effecient grind, and relatively easy to clean. the only downfall in this model, is that coffee always seems to stick to the side walls after grinding, so i have to gently scrape the residual coffee powder off the sides before putting it away. I haven't used it for spices yet, though I imagine it should do a nice job. it seem well designed and I'm satified for the price paid and don't need to buy another one!

Fantastic value for money
Despite how inexpensive it is, this is an excellent coffee grinder. I bought this when my fancy hand grinder suddenly seized. I searched and searched for a replacement and kept overlooking this one because I thought it would likely be poor quality due to the low price. I’m so glad I read the reviews and saw how much people liked it. It grinds a decent amount of coffee at one time, and to get a finer grind, you simply grind it for longer. It’s certainly a lot less labour intensive than the hand grinder!
