Orff: Carminia Burana

The sound and interpretation are great. I love it. The choir is sophisticate and the conductor direct the all piece with candour and style. I have been listen for years the Jochum version for Galleria. That version was recorded in 1968 and exhibits the limitation of the times and technology. Of course you have Gundula Janowitz and Gerhard Stolze but at the end you look for more detail and transparency. I am still waiting for a 21st century interpretation.
