So Far, So Good - Bright Red and Slippery
Interesting stuff. It seems thin, but it is very smooth and the bearing works great with it.If my bearings fail early, I might update this review. Since the bearings from the same brand were so good, I'll give this a high rating for now because Timken would never want to smear their reputation or product with bad grease!Update: 29,000 miles later, no issues. Will update on the inspection repack coming up in a month or two.Update: 40,000 miles after the first bearing replacement above using this grease, Timken bearings. Bearings still look, feel and work great. Will update on repack or if there are grease related issues. So far, all is well.Update, 2020, five years laterWhen I popped the grease caps and peaked inside during a tire change, all was still really clean. I put another 30,000 on the bearings, and then stopped tracking things. Lots of shorter trips these days and more sitting. The ol' girl has 245,000 on her now, but I still like driving that old Ford better than my much newer 4Runner. Anyway, I really, really need to repack those bearings, but they still roll perfectly smooth and quiet, with no play when jacked up to change tires from winter to summer and back. This year, I left the winters on from last year because COVID really put the brakes on my traveling. I doubt that I'll be driving as much until there is some solution for the virus. Most of my miles have been freeways and highways between Los Angeles and the Pacific Northwest. Rain, snow, cold, hot, curves, towing, loaded down in the 8 ft. bed with both tanks full, and then empty around town getting stuff for the garden. Is it the grease or the bearings and seals? Who knows, but they are all working well. I will update this when I finally do get around to repacking the bearings next spring. I'm sorry that I have not been able to give the tear-down update yet. It will be interesting to see how things are on that clean and repack.Truth be told, I was thinking of getting a new truck. I drove them all, and must admit, I liked the way the RAM hemi 4x4 drove -- but the reliability / parts shortage issues and shorter bed, etc. made me pause. And well with the folks that made my truck, I'm not up for a beer can with a twin turbo rubber band motor with a giant television in the dashboard and a tiny bed that is smaller than a 70's Eldo trunk. Then the 'yota had too much road noise. None of them are just a good truck like my 1995 Ford with the crew cab and eight foot bed. And none of 'em have a rear area that folds flat. And gee whiz, 50 grand for a truck that doesn't go to work, and 70 grand for one that could go to work but nobody wants to scratch a 70 grand truck. Hmmm. It's just that one day, some piece of plastic or some resistor somewhere will be the end. She'll be happy when I repack her bearings and give 'er another once around of maintenance. Love that old truck. The Timkin grease is definitely good stuff. I like it because it's helping me keep my paid-for, fun to drive, usefull, and friendly old truck on the road a little longer.

great item and a real problem solver.
This is the real deal for wheel bearings. If you have a bearing-packer that uses a zerk fitting,,,, DONT use chassis grease. (like everyone else does). How many times have i seen trailers with those 'bearin-buddies' fail because homeowners pump them full of chassis grease. This grease went in the bearings of a motorycle trailer with two giant hogs. Pulled the thing at ninety plus and not a drop of this High Temp grease came past the seals.I have never seen real wheel bearing grease sold in a cartridge but now I keep a dedicated grease gun just for it.

Timken racing grease worth the extra cost.
Timken racing grease is an excellent bearing grease. The cartridge allows you to use in a grease gun and bearing packer with a zerk fitting. This grease is purple in color and outperforms the stablndard Timken standard red grease. It is more expensive than the standard grease, but well worth it. Works great on ball joints, tie rods, u joints and other parts that use grease.

Good grease
Gets the job done. Used on all new Timken bearings in a drivetrain rebuild. Tube was a little soft and initially I had some issues with it in my grease gun, but otherwise the grease itself seems to perform up to standards.

Good grease
I wish you could buy this stuff locally. I use to use super blue by Kendall can't find that anymore figure I try this seeing the majority of bearing I use and or replace timken. So far everything I've lube up working good. But as we all know how's it do in say 80k miles can't say. But if it branded by the bearing company it should be good to go for all needs

Timken is the top of the line for bearings and bearing greases
Used this product most recently to re-pack the front wheel bearings of my 1993 F-150 4x4 (by the way I highly recommend using a Lisle bearing packing tool, makes for much easier packing of bearings without the mess). I have an Engineering degree so I know that when I hear the name Timken that I am getting quality. I am completely confident that this product has the properties and consistency to provide excellent bearing lubrication for an extended period of time. There are many that argue the "cheap stuff" that can be found at most auto parts stores works just as well, but I would prefer to spend a little bit more for name brand grease that I know will last me a long time. I would rather know that a bearing failed because of something I did improperly with installation rather than from me using cheap grease.

This stuff is cool! DO NOT EAT IT LOOKS TASTY
I'm not so sure why this looks like a delicacy, or tart filling, cause its Mechanical Lube, But it looks Edible, ITS NOT. PLEASE DO NOT EAT THE RED JELLY.I mixed the Jelly with some WD40 in order to apply the grease to the ball bearings in my bike wheel without removing the parts. It was really successful, resistance and grime became a non issue, on a Heavily modified street bike. full season went by, no issue. I have more left that will probably need in my life.Very Good Quality. (PS, No I did not try to eat it, just got the idea in my head when I saw it. T,T)

good grease !
I use this for my trailer (medium use). It's perfect. For me, no need to go for the extra higher grade.

Worked great in a front bearing application
Researched different brands, this is a high performing grease at a very reasonable price, shipped right to my door. Worked great in a front bearing application.

Good product
What can you say about grease. Either it works or doesn’t. This one does. Like the red colour. I grease the ball on my hitch and weight distribution bars. Use a rubber glove. Scope a finger full. Grease and throw the glow way. Nice product.
