They will keep you clean.
I found the mudguards far to big lots of other ones out there at less than half the price

Simple and brilliant
I recently bought a mountain bike to try my hand at off-road cycling. I know the purists prefer to return from the trails caked in mud, but a set of mudguards seemed to me to be a sensible investment to try and keep some of the muck away...This set includes two mudguards - one for the rear wheel which clamps to the seatpost, and one for the front wheel which attaches to the bottom tube with a couple of rubber O-rings. All the fittings are included in the kit, including rubber pads of varying thicknesses to fit different seatposts. Fitting the rear guard took about 2 minutes; fitting the front one was slightly more fiddly, as it is a bit awkward to stretch the O-rings and poke them through the hole in the guard, but I was ready to go in 5 minutes or so.The guards themselves are made of a very flexible plastic with rubber trim, which will simply bounce back into shape even if bent in half; I did crash my bike while testing these on Saturday, and they were completely unscathed. They weigh a few tens of grams each - nothing that is going to slow you down. The sheer amount of mud that was on the bottom of both after an hour's riding attests to how effective they are. They even look pretty good when fitted. If you want mudguards for an off-road bike, these are absolutely excellent - recommended without reservation.

An excellent set of mud guards
I was hesitant to buy these after reading a few reviews, but I'm glad I bought them in the end.The rear guard simply attached to the seat post, whilst the front one attaches to the lower frame bar. The rear guard clamp comes with spacers to suit different diameters of seat post, whilst the front guard fits on with elasticated rubber straps. Despite some of the more unusual reports, in my opinion this hasn't and shouldn't interfere with the gear/brake cables unless you fit it incorrectly (or have an unusual frame). The guards are lightweight and flexible, which can mean the rear gets a bit "flappy" over bumps, but that's to be expected I think. I would say I cycle regularly over severely bumpy surfaces (enough to mean my handlebar-mounted action camera mount moves all over the place), and the guards are still fitted exactly as I when I first put them on. I paid around £15 for a set, which is a veritable bargain.

Easy to install - but.....
.....not sure if they'll last long. However, I bought them because they were cheap so I'm not complaining - I feel that their price reflects their quality. They do their job and I have not seen any movement since installing them - hence the 4 stars they deserve

Good quality but a bit big and bulky.
Haven't tested the front one as the downtube design is really dated and looks naf. The rear one is great on my new 29er bike and had one for years on my Cannondale hardtail before that. (Bit on the big side though).

Works!
After being splattered with rain and mud this autumn/winter, I have decided to indulge in a pair of mudguards. These didn’t disappoint. On my first trip out in the rain, I was amazed that my cycling trousers stayed dry and I wondered why I had never invested in a pair of these!A slight inconvenience was that it didn’t protect my feet from being splashed but that wasn’t what these were designed to do. Excellent for what it is, liked it that it ‘overprotects’ on my 27” wheels and keeps my bum dry all the way to work. The

Excellent rear mudguard for those of us with bikes with clown wheels.
Realising summer was here, I figured I better get some new mudguards for my 29er. I have had the Crud guards before, and as usual the rear is first rate and does a great job of all the spray and detritus getting thrown up your back. It does a better job than the Zefal Swan I was using before, but to be fair, that mudguard was off my CX bike where it excels with a narrower tyre. The front mudguard, while nice and wide, is just fixed with some pretty weedy rubber bands. Would much prefer to see a rubber strap fixing like you do on Zefal, SKS....well, every other manufacturer's mudguards.

Easy to fit
This is the 2nd set I have bought of this make. They seem sturdy, and easy to fit and represent good value for money. Would recommend.
