Hard but many uses
I wouldn't want to sleep on it unless you are young with good hips and shoulders. I use it for yoga. As I need a thicker cushion than normal yoga mats. It's also good for laying on my chair out in the sun or under the trees. I like doing yoga out there. It's perfect for outdoor yoga.

Thick sturdy mat
Good thick mat. We needed for another purpose and it was too stiff and bulky for daily use so we are returning. Otherwise very good quality.

Great value, not suitable for direct on ground use
I'm a tall fella and the 77" version of this mat worked great for my height and was also plenty wide for a sleeping bag. I'd have to agree with other reviewers, it's not suitable to bare ground as it will get damaged (heck, pressing my hands into it with a bit of nail cut the surface quite easily). Never-the-less, it is great for inside a tent, is feather weight and took the rough edges out of sleeping on the ground!

What we wanted and needed
I bought these mats to use with military cots. The large 625 size fits the cots nicely with about an inch on either side and a couple of inches at the top and bottom. The cots are for an emergency shelter for homeless folks and those who do not have heat or A/C when temps reach either extreme. The mats will be easier to sanitize than the fabric on the cots. These mats are lightweight and roll up easily and will do well in the application we need them for. Now, if only Amazon would find more of them…we ordered 20 and have only gotten 6. The others have been delayed multiple times.

Exactly what we needed ☺️
Used these under our air mattress when we camped in 4 degree snowy weather and it kept the air mattress nice and insulated! Super thankful for these pads.

Not amazing but adequate.
It was ok. It was kind of my fault bc i got the middle size so it is WAY too big for me to carry hiking. Since it does not bring a handle it is a bit uncomfortable to carry around (for me this was my biggest issue). I also didn't like that it didnt really flatten all the way so anytime i moved the corner came up. I have a bit over an average frame and the width of it didn't really cover my body. On the plus side it was fairly comfortable...

Great pad but not for hiking
This pad is comfortable. I really liked it BUT the size of the roll is not great for hiking. I mounted it on top of a Teton Explorer Hiking backpack and it was cumbersome.
