Right product, wrong dog
I bought this spray collar as I thought it might stop my Westie's excessive barking, especially in the car. The product works well and the spray is triggered as soon as the dog barks. The collar can be adjusted to make sure the fit is correct. I cannot fault the product, only the dog. She was initially surprised by the spray, but soon got used to it and it was quite funny because her frantic barking was punctuated by frantic spraying. Anyway it makes the car smell nice!I have given this collar 4 stars because I am sure that on a receptive dog it will work, as other reviewers have found. The only requirement is to check that the unit is filled up (and switched on) and it is easy to check that it will spray before putting the collar on the dog.I haven't given up putting the collar on the dog, but I think mine is too feisty to be controlled in this way.

Great product
OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Put this on my lurcher that barked the moment I went to bed or work. After 4 barks and him freaking out he stopped. The reason I know this is I have a baby camera/monitor and put the camera in the room and left the house to look at the monitor screen. Was funny but felt sorry at the same time for my dog.. Not a bark or yelp anymore. The day after I did not put the collar and he still won't bark. I would recommend it to anyone who has a pet that won't stop barking when your in bed or out all day.

Miracle?
We were contemplating re -homing our one year old terrier puppy who wouldn't stop barking every evening. I mean really barking his head off sometimes for no reason and winding himself up more and more. The first time it sprayed him he got such a shock he just stopped immediately. Now when I put the collar on in the evening I can leave it in the off position and he still won't bark. It's really days but I'm praying this will do the trick for good! He seems a lot calmer now.

OK in doors,no good outdoors.
I used this product for a yorkie as he goes mental at everything even the wind and what I learned from using it was that it works ok in doors but outside he just ignores it so will continue using it inside for when we have visitors because as you can guess he goes bananas at anyone who rings the bell I think it would be great for training a puppy that barks etc as they are in the learning stages but my dog is nine which I also think contributed to it not working as his misbehaving is engrained in him now and is stubborn as hell.

Excellent to stop a dogs nuisance barking.
Excellent device. My dog often barked in the night for no apparent reason. Once he had this on his neck he as quiet. It took him one bark to realise what would happen. Now we often put the collar on him but don't switch it on.We had one of the collars that was faulty. The company Customer Service were really good and dispatched a new one immediately. Recommend them without reservation.

Fantastic
My 14 year old border terrier/jack russell cross has for the past few months been barking all night, every night. He sleeps downstairs with a baby gate at the stairs to stop him from coming upstairs. He only seems to be happy when he is sleeping upstairs with us which is obviously not ideal. Nobody in the house has had a proper nights sleep in months due to constantly having to get up to put him back in his bed throughout the night. I purchased this collar as a last resort, reading mixed reviews I was unsure if it would work but decided it was worth the £35 to at least try.I LOVE it. The first night he barked 3 times and then stopped. Same for the second night. By the third night he didn't even attempt to bark.I am still putting the collar on him and turning it on - just in case! However he doesn't seem to bark at all now. This collar has saved me and allowed me to sleep through the night again!!

Best buy ever!!
This was the best purchase ever! After just having a baby our dogs barking was becoming even more of a nuisance, this collar sorted it instantly! No more barking at the telly, the birds or anything else that moves. It really is a godsend! Highly recommended!!

Peace reigns!
This product is amazing! I have a very barky 6 month old pug, from the first day I put this on him ( which is easy to fit ) he barked a couple of times then very quickly learnt not to, he will usually go mad and bark constantly at any noise in the back garden,at birds,children anything,but with this collar in peace reigns. I did wonder if it would be too bulky since he's not a big dog with a short neck but it's fine,if it's fitted correctly it won't hang down.very good product.
