The unit stopped working after many months and I reached out to the company and they provided a brand new replacement to me. That was 100% unexpected but definitely appreciated. They didn't have to do this but they did and that means a lot as a buyer.As for the actual unit - it works really well as my husband actually uses it for his cold dips...Thank you again for the great service!

My son loves this thing. It works immediately and floats perfectly. Son likes to gums on it. He prefers this over other toys but I only had it for less than two months and it stopped working. There’s probably better ones out there that will last longer

It's very cute. And when it works- it works great. The first month and a half were flawless.However after that it started becoming nonresponsive. It'd randomly turn off and we'd have to dry the sensor at the bottom and put it back in to get the temperature. Not that big a deal until about a week ago. It stopped turning on at all. Then we noticed brown liquid leaking out of the battery compartment. Water got into the it and now it doesn't work at all.Keep in mind we've never opened the compartment or done anything even remotely abnormal with it. There's zero reason it should have stopped working other then poor design. And look, I know this wasn't super expensive. I didn't expect it to last 5 years. If it'd lasted one year- I'd have been happy. But two months of use is a waste of plastic, components, and money.Yes, it's cute. But find something that will last a while longer then this one.

This product is so cute and so easy to work! I bought this for me, I’m pregnant and wanted to keep track of my bath water’s temperature! Definitely will keep this for when I have my baby! It’s easy to use and easy to read! Definitely would 100% recommend

We absolutely loved our otter thermometer! As first time parents it was one less thing for us to worry about when it came to bath time and making sure the water temperature was safe. Unfortunately, after only two months the product stopped working.Product update:Customer service was wonderful to work with. They sent us a new product. We have been using the item for about a week now. We have been mindful of cleaning the sensors and drying the product after each use.

I have 2 elementary aged boys- one likes to take baths hot enough to cause brain damage and the other one is terrified that the bath water is slightly too warm. Bought this cute seal and voila! Kid #1 is in appropriately hot baths and kid #2 can be convinced to get in the water based on the facts provided by this little floaty guy. THANK YOU!!

This was great for all of 1 week. Then we felt the water was too hot to the touch. So we used a meat thermometer which showed the real temperature. This was off by 3 degrees. 102 vs. 105 is problematic. It was super cute though.
