Rich supply of organic calcium
For one reason or another, my calcium needs have increased considerably.Organic calcium is excreted if we take too much inorganic calcium OR we are low on any kind of calcium. Its funny how too much calcium and/or too little calcium results in calcium wasting. In trying to address my deficiency and achieve 'calcium homeostasis', I've decided to take both organic calcium (this one) and inorganic calcium carbonate. The more I read about Calcium, and its still not understood exactly all the things Calcium does in our bodies, the more I think of making strong bone as being akin to making a good concrete mix. Too much of one thing and the stuff wont set right.I know this sounds a bit strange, but I am aware of when I am calcium-stripping, as I get pain in my left hip. This was particularly bad when my jaw bone was healing. So you see, I'm one of these people that really 'listens' to their body and since taking both types of Calcium I've registered far less pain in my hip. Most days none at all now, but there can still be the odd day.I suppose in my darkest moments I really worry that all my dieting in years gone by, has given me Osteoporosis? I'm aware that the renewal of our bones starts slowing down after the age of 35. Also its pretty shocking to realise that eating masses of dairy food will not protect us against Osteoporosis. Then there is the whole debate concerning calcium absorption in a milk-alkali environment.Anyway, the bottle is not massive and with two people consuming it, it runs out very quickly, but I'll continue with this product until I'm completely free of jaw bone pain.

Not much calcium
Bought this post an operation where I needed liquid calcium. Very small amount of Ca in the liquid for the price compared to tablets. Tastes nice though.
