This is just as described, but all the keys sound the same. I don’t know if I was just expecting more even though I knew how small it would be. Going to use as stocking stuffers for my neon eyes and nephew. They will probably play it for about 1 min and then never touch it again. But it’s neat!

Got these for kid's Christmas stockings. They were super excited, even got a playing book to go with so they could learn songs. Very cute upon opening but incredibly out of tune and mis-numbered. spend the extra $$ and get the bigger one or a different brand.

12 year old loves it...

I was hoping this would come with some instructions or something, but that is OK. It works and makes a nice sound. I am not sure how to play these. I have been just playing around with it before my daughter wanted it. The neck strap is nice, it adjusts the height of the piece so my daughter can use it too. It is fun to mess with, I just wish I could play a song or something with it.

I got a kalimba for one of my daughters recently (age 8), and my other daughter (age 6) really wanted one for herself. This one is so adorable and tiny, perfect for her little fingers. When it arrived I had to tune it by adjusting each key, pulling them out or pushing them in slightly to get the correct note. Other than that it's been working great and my daughter has figured out how to play a few simple songs!

Checked this with an online tuning device and one of the keys was definitely out of tune. Also the keys were a little too close together so it would be difficult to strike one without striking the neighboring key. I would suggest you look for one with the keys spread out a little more.

I got this as a gift for my six year old so she could learn an instrument and have a good time. Well she loves it! So far she’s just getting used to how the different keys sound, but she’s having a blast. I love that it isn’t loud and that the little notes it plays are very soft. This is definitely a winning item
