I’ll start this review with the good things. The remote and collar charge very quickly, they have excellent range and decent battery life on the collar. My puppy has responded very well to this and I have only had to use the shock option once or twice when he was actually in danger of getting attacked by an alligator in a pond and wouldn’t listen to me. The shock option worked very well on the low settings. His training has improved 1000% and it is a great feeling to know that if he is out with me in the woods etc. he will come back with just a simple push of the beep option. He was never afraid of it because I trained him correctly to understand that it was not punishment , and in fact, gave him rewards when he responded now for the improvements that are needed,…The remote has a lanyard that comes with it that you can hang around your neck or your wrist etc. but I think it would be great if it came with an optional belt clip. I personally do not want things hanging around my neck or my wrist and the belt clip Would be great for a hands-free option because you could leave it on your belt and simply push the buttons. The other improvement I would like to see is haptic feedback on the remote. I have a vision impairment and I have memorized the buttons and they are big and easy to use and the shock button is orange and larger. But I think it would be good for anyone using this to be able to feel the vibrate and the shock as well. If you’re going to use it on your pet, then you should be willing to feel it on your thumb when you use it etc. I tried this out before I put it on my dog and I put it on my calf , and it’s not bad it’s somewhat like a hot wire on a fence to keep the horses from getting through. I have a large dog but he’s no horse lol. That is really all of the improvements that I feel should be done. Otherwise, this is an excellent tool for behavior, modification and rewards , and it very well may save the life of your dog!

The shock is not to bad it doesn’t seem to hurt my dog but I suggest just use the beep one it doesn’t cause any harm and it works with my dog. The quality seems great my dog seemed to learn from it really fast. It is a very good value for the price. It fits my dog well. I recommend you buy this if your doesn’t behave very well. The battery last very long. It works perfectly fine after it gets wet. The noise is very good. The collar is very adjustable. My dog is an escape artist and whenever we're at the dog park he hangs around the gate when a new dog is coming in. He's looking for an escape route. I never use the major zap button (I hit it once by accident and it was very strong) and I keep it maintained at a very low setting, just in case. But I do use the bell and the mild buzzer (no physical sensation) and that is sufficient to cause him to move away from the gate. Of he ever became involved in a fight, I would try the zap.

I like the collar and it works great. The problem is the little push button cover came off and now I have to push the button with some other object everytime I want to use it. That's very annoying. It's past the return date but I think something should be done and why didn't it last long? Not happy about this.

The collar concept is great. Too bad it didn't last longer than 5 months! This is the third collar I have purchased in 4 years. The first one last 2 years (then the battery died). The second one lasted 1.5 years (the vibration mechanism failed). The newest one (the "new version") physically broke after only 5 months of use. I spoke to several of my family members and friends who have other similar collars made by other manufacturers and their collars have been working for several years.The "new version" of this collar system has a rubber covered on/off button on the collar itself. It fell off after less than 5 months of use leaving the unit nonfunctional. I've emailed a report/complaint to the manufacturer, however, I have not heard back from them yet.I collar concept is very practical and works well. This manufacturer's version is clearly poor quality. I would recommend finding a more reliable brand that comes with a warranty. This one does not.

I had purchased one of these in 2020. It worked great. Wanted another one for keeping on our RV as my dog does not like to poop while on a leash and the previous collar worked so well. I had not had to use the shock feature until today. Unfortunately, this collar does not work at all on the shock setting. I found this out when he ran away from me and did not respond to the beep, vibrate and shock. I checked it out and the shock does not work at all. Now I am going to look for another brand that will work. I am out of the return window for this one so I can't send it back.Update: The seller has responded to me and is sending me a replacement as it is under warranty! I am changing my rating to 5 stars.

I had the previous model to this one (original was bought in 2019/2020). After 4 years the collar receiver broke off of the neck strap. I purchased this one because i loved the original one i had. My old model didn’t have the on/ off button on the collar. This new one does. It’s a neat feature, however, the collar charge doesn’t last as long as the old model did. I have to click and hold the on/ off button every few days to make sure it’s turned on before i let my dog outside (it seems to me as if it shuts itself off). The old model, i didn’t have to worry about. The old model charge lasted 3-4 days longer than this one. The clips that come attached to the neck strap, i feel are very cheaply made (with the new version). The image above will show why I’m even writing this review in the first place. I tugged on the collar last night slightly to keep my dog from going somewhere she wasn’t supposed to and i heard it crack. If i was able to find the old model i had when i purchased this one, i would’ve went with that. Overall it does what it’s supposed to do. Certain things just need some improvement
