Pretty good nail set
I got this and an extra solar shimmer powder. I’ve done my nails twice with this kit and I’ve never used dip powders before. I’m more of a rugged person but for the holidays I wanted something cute. Regular nail polish does not stand a chance for more than a couple days. The first time I did it, it lasted 2 weeks and because it made my nails thicker they grew out longer than usual and seemed to not damage them. Not too had to removed I used an acetone soak and cotton balls. Let my nails rest a week and tried it again with the red. I’m new to this so it takes me about an hour to do all the steps. The second time it was less filing and smoother application. Not sure if that’s because the powder is finer on a solid color than sparkles or if a second go was just better. The first time I contaminated my topcoat brush but thankfully they give you two extra ones. Overall I’m happy with the product and it’s worth a try 👍 I’ll see how long the red lasts. If it gives me two weeks again I’ll probably get more colors and product.

Great product, poor packaging.
Love this product but did not like that the activator leaked in the packaging. You can see the yellow in the packaging behind the activator. There is no crack in the bottle or lid, the cap was not tighten enough. I could smell it before I opened the box so knew there was a leak. The activator didn't get onto anything else so I only took away one star. The product itself is easy to use and lasts a full 2 weeks or longer, I always change it at 2 weeks because I want a change in color.

Great value for the basics
This kit is a great way to get started with dipping. It has all of the liquids and powders you need to start, and some helpful tools. And I love that you get a color guide, though it doesn’t include all of the available colors.Personally, I plan to use this kit as my travel set, since the liquids and powders are conveniently packaged in smaller containers. (I’ve been using Nailboo for awhile, so I already know the liquids and powders are good quality.)Do be aware that the liquids and powders are smaller than the full-size ones you’d get directly from Nailboo.

Finally - NailBoo is on Amazon!
So excited NailBoo is on Amazon now. I’ve order from them directly in the past on numerous occasions, but this has made it so much more convenient to place orders - not to mention faster arrival! Can’t wait to crack open my new starter kit and give my nails some much needed TLC 💅🏽💕

Not sure about it yet
Personally I’m it sure if mail dip powder is for me. However, 5 stars because the product is exactly as promised. It’s is a little difficult to figure out and first and can be time consuming until you get the hang of it. If you make sure to take your time and be careful it’s really not difficult. The base coat is kind of like krazy glue to if you get it on your skin it dries instantly and feels terrible. The end product, to me, feels a lot like having press on nails. They’re thick and noticeable. I’m not sure if I like them or not and I’m also not sure if it’s because I don’t like the actual dip powder or if it’s just because I hate the shade “date night” it’s like a bright pink/red and it’s just not a color I like. I’m going to buy a different color and try it out.All in all, if you are the kind of person who likes to have acrylics or press ons or who likes gel polish, you’ll probably love this product.

Need help
It’s more steps than the videos suggest. And looking for help on the steps is not given. There are no specific directions for extra items in the kit. Like which buffer should I use when? When brushing the power off, how much? What should it look like?I’ve only one time but I definitely had areas where the polish was lumpy or stuck up on edges. Being a newbie I totally get this is probably my fault. I will try it again. But the thing that sucked was removal. I spent almost 2 hours trying to get it off. I’d say in the end it damaged my nails less than your typical he mani, but there’s still some damage. I’d agree with the sales pitch that it’s strong. I took it off within a week, with one nail chipping. Again I clearly didn’t know what I was doing so I’m sure that’s my fault. I’m not giving up on it because I think once I figure out how to do it it’ll be nice, but not if it continues to take forever to get off.

No experience needed loving it!
I bought nailboo for my daughters and I to try. As things are getting tighter financially I thought this would be something we could do in order to go to the salon less and still have fun with our nails. My daughters are all adults now. We bought the kit and bought some extra colors. I am not good at "girly" stuff and my girls are about half and half with being into all the makeup and things. I have to say this was awesome. We not only enjoyed our time together but our nails were easy to do and came out amazing. We have now purchased some more colors and plan on making this a habit. It truly is just as sturdy and beautiful as if we went to a salon. It may take one or two times of using it to get the best at it but it truly is awesome. This is my new favorite and even my most picky beauty daughter loved her nails and the process of doing them herself. This is not only easy and good quality but can be used as a relaxing thing to do alone or build relationships and spend quality time together talking while doing your nails with friends or family. I am so excited to get even more! Short or long nails, tips or not I would recommend this to anyone.

I'm an official convert from using gel!
I've been a long term user of LED gel nail polish that I apply at home and wasn't happy with how quickly they chip and start to look crappy. I'd seen many ads on FB for Nailboo and decided to try. I am HOOKED! Is there a learning curve? Yes, even for someone who's seasoned at doing their own nails. There's lots of tutorials on YouTube and through Nailboo, which I needed to figure out how to not flood my cuticles in spite of using thin layers. Set one lasted 7 days...set two lasted 12 days before chipping....and that was due to me bowling. Now I've purchased enough product to last for a year and can't wait to get more colors! Of note....the smell can be strong, a fan blowing in the background takes care of that. Have fun and enjoy the self care time!
