This is great for protecting my gooseneck trailer hitch.

This works with the 2 5/16 inch ball and holds the safety chain snugly. Every lock can be defeated by a determined thief, so be sure to leave your stabilizers and steps down when you park your trailer.

Easy to use and only one key needed

You can use this on virtually any trailer. It would take a determined thief with an electric grinder to take it off.

Its a good idea, just not well thought out. Its built heavy out of aluminum. When it comes to doing its job, it flops around all over the trailer tongue. It gives the impression that it will just fall off. Not that it will by itself (I don't think) but maybe with some light persuasion by some criminals. Anyway, I sent it back and got another brand.

The media could not be loaded.  A little loose out of the box bet it gets better by adding two top link bushings. 1 inch to 3/4 inch reduction brass bushings I bought from Tractor Supply. It fits tighter and not nearly as loose. It would be very hard to remove now.

My 2 5/16” ball receiver has a large lip, and most other hitch locks were all to narrow, and wouldn’t fit. This one fits just fine, and the multiple holes for the lock bar allow for you to close the position that works the best. Once installed and locked, it’s not coming off.
