I wanted a different border for my small flower garden and found this while searching. I love this color wood, easy to install, I was able to get into the shape I needed for my border. You do need to tie them together so they fit nicely.

These are good quality and easy to install with a mallet, They even come with gloves so you don’t get splendors. They fit really well with the natural landscape of my yard. Four stars instead of five because of the price, but I’ve decided they’re worth it and I keep paying for them as a landscape my property.

Good quality, it maybe a little bit loose connecting each piece, however, as long as you dig the longer ones into the ground, it should be good to hold the rest of pieces

This trim was hard to install. It’s tough to keep them together with the flimsy line when pounding it in the earth. I found a lot of the longer stake ones went crooked. It leaned forward after I installed it all too. So meaning without dirt up against it, it wasn’t stable. Very poor quality. Was broken in the box unfortunately. I went to Menards to get trim today. I got enough trim for the entire garden project and top soil for what I paid for this trim. Save your money. Get something else. Wouldn’t recommend.

This is not meant for anything other than soft soil. I live in Arizona. We do not have soft soil. I thought about sending it back but I added rigidity by nailing a piece of strapping along the back side to keep it uniform. I also dug a small trench to minimize hammering. I ordered three long strips and a shorter one to cover the 40-foot run. The shorter run had the same dimensions as the longer runs but the ends were cut differently. The final product looks attractive. I would recommend you order something different if you do not want the extra work and materials needed to make a straight and attractive perimeter. The material overall was okay. I had a couple of of staves that were defective.

I use it to prevent soil/mulch erosion on sloped landscape areas.. When it rains heavily, little water courses develop in our sloped landscape areas which then wash mulch & soil down to the lowest point in our beds and leaves a pile that's wet and diffficult to adequately repair. We place these attractive wooden "stockades" at several levels down the slope and the mulch pretty much stays put. They're inexpensive and effective. I could make my own but wouldn;t be saving much at all. A great product.
