Great for butter making. I used whipping cream in a blender until butter was made. I then added the mixture to ice water and this is when these came in handy…These were used to squeeze out the excess liquid. The mesh is very fine so they allowed the liquid to escape and kept the butter in one piece.Well made and washable to use again. Perfect for my needs.

I bought this particular 'food strainer bag' because of the claim that it is 'All Purpose'. However, the mesh is so fine that when I placed some Aloe Vera gel/pulp into the bag and attempted to extract the juice, nothing happened! Not one drop of aloe juice is to be seen!!!From experience, this product is best suited for separating liquids from solids.

Bought these to filter honey using gravity and they work really well. Easy to clean afterwards with just warm soapy water. I’d recommend them and would buy them again should I need to replace them.

The nylon bag was very good. A nice big size that fitted the brewing bucket. Was fairly easy to clean. The mesh size was brilliant, filtered all the bits from the mashed up fruit. Only used it on pineapples at the moment but will be using it to make some ginger mead.
