CHARLIES Outdoor Leisure Quick Double Folding Camping Bed

I'd wanted a double camp bed for a while but they were all very expensive, this came in on budget but I was weary; I don't think I needed to be it seems to be perfectly good quality. It's been to cold to camp out and test it since it arrived but I may have had a little nap in the lounge and it was very comfy.I will warn you it's very heavy, not sure what I'd expected but probably something not to try & lift into a roof box.As to be expected there is the bar in the middle so not sure about snuggling when you're sharing a double sleeping bag, one person might end up laying on the bar, ouch?Must also add that it doesn't come with instructions so although it does seem to just pull out and that's that I was anxious I wasn't clipping a safety thing in somewhere, but it took my weight and hubby laid down to test it too and we didn't end up on the floor so must be ok.Would I recommend you purchase - yes.

Its sturdy and well built. However it is very much 2 campbeds stuck together as there is a large and pronounced central bar so the only way you can sleep in the middle is if you put a double airbed on top, which I have, does bow a bit, but it is comfortable. There is really good storage underneath.

Having spent a small fortune and a lot of time pointlessly trying to repair air beds used only once, this bed is very welcome. It is incredibly easy to erect and while not the most luxurious bed I have ever slept in kept me comfortable enough during two nights recently spent on a camping trip. It is solid and well made and while a little heavy, what else could I expect from something this sturdy, will accompany me on further forays in camping without the expense or exasperation of buying, reinflating and waking up on cold ground that air mattresses have provided me.

Bed easy to put up and take down. Had expected the canvas to be more taught, (less saggy), similar to my single fold up bed.Plenty of storage space underneath!

A good folding camp bed. Very sturdy and quite weighty. We put a double blow-up bed on the top and it's like home from home!I would recommend it.

Comfortable bed but no instructions! There were two straps which we didn't know what to do with.Charlies to check they were just for use when bed folded.

It was good enough to hold me and my hasbands weight.Me 85kg and husband 75kg.My husband loved it.

A great camping bed.- Fairly hard, so important to something soft between you and the material (a foam mat might do the trick- Very sturdy- Nice to have the space underneath for storage
