Looked around for something my mom could use when travelling and walking around but not something to bog her down. There were several options but this company had good reviews on customer service so I went with them. Just received the product today so my review will be solely based on appearance, weight, and I may touch on stability and comfort.Upon opening the box, the package was neatly packaged, as you will see in the picture. It was well sealed. When you pull the product out, attached, by zip tie, is a plastic bag with 3 additional rubber caps and an instruction manual. By the handle, the red seat cover is wrapped. The handle is made of a nice soft touch rubber which would allow one to get a good grip on the cane while walking. The light at the end of the handle is a nice touch too. I went through each screw to make sure nothing is lose, making sure that the product is safe to use. Not only that nothing was out of place, I was impressed at how I did not find a single sharp edge on (top, underneath, around) the product. No sharp edge on the aluminum parts, the plastic parts and no extra pieces on the rubber parts. I would truly say that this is worth every penny for how the manufacturer’s quality check made sure they send out a good, quality item.This thing is super light. Carrying it around while walking shouldn’t cause fatigue. Even though it is light, it is sturdy enough to keep one stable during their walks. When sitting, definitely make sure to aim center of gravity for stability. For the little time it tried sitting on it, it was comfortable enough. I would say that it would do the job I had purchased it for.All in all, I am happy with this purchase.

Ordered 2 one for I and my husband . Both seat covers were the same color dark pink.Would of been nice to have choice of seat covers.

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE I NEED TO SIT DOWN OFTEN WHEN OUTSIDE. I AM 84 YEARS OLD AND WEIGH 115 LBS. THIS PRODUCT WILL NEVER SUPPORT 220 LBS AS THE WRITE UP STATES. WHEN THE PRODUCT IS OPENED AND THE SEAT LOWERED, IF YOUR PLACE YOUR OPEN PALM ON THE SEAT AND PRESS DOWN SIDE TO SIDE, YOU WILL FEEL IT WOBBLE BACK AND FORTH. NOT SAFE NOR STABLE., WHEN I, WITH CAUTION, SAT DOWN ON IT, IT STILL WOBBLED. IN ATTEMPTING TO STAND UP FROM THIS FLIMSYCANE SEAT THERE WAS NO PLACE ON THE SEAT I COULD PUT MY HAND TO GAIN LEVERAGE AND LIFT MYSELF UP WITH CONFIDENCE. THE SPLAY OF THE TRIPOD LEGS IS NOT WIDER THAN THE SEAT AS IT IS ILLUSTRATED. THE SPLAY WOULD HAVE TO BE CONSIDERABLY MUCH WIDER AT THE GROUND LEVEL TO OFFSET THE WEIGHT AND WIDTH OF THE SEAT ABOVE. IT'S JUST PHYSICS. THE WRITE UP ON THIS PRODUCT ON AMAZON IS DELIBERATELY MISLEADING - DISHONEST. WHERE ARE THE MEASUREMENTS IN INCHES OF HEIGHT, WIDTH ETC AND COMPARISONS ? NOT GIVEN ! THE ILLUSTRATIONS ARE FALSE AND DECEPTIVE. THE NECK AT THE CONVERGENCE OF WHERE THE THREE LEGS ARE BOLTED TOGETHER IS DEPICTED AS HIGHER FROM THE BOTTOM UP AS IS IN REALITY. THIS AFFECTS THE WOBBLE IT HAS. THIS OS A FLIMSY UNSAFE PRODUCT NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE BY ANYONE.

My mom has been using the cane for about a month now, preferring it to the others I got her. Unexpectedly, the three legs, when collapsed and used as a cane, have a stabilizing effect that she likes.

My wife recently suffered a stroke and when walking very far she needs to stop and rest. She is not a small woman and I was skeptical about this working for her. It has been a real help getting her out and about with a way to sit when the fatigue overcomes.
