its strong and windproof and somewhat water resistant it has tons of storage room and is really warm for its wieght. its kinda snug so if you like a lot of room in a jacket maybe go up a size but i like these kinda of coats no to be baggy

Might be worth ordering smaller size unless you're wearing a fleece or something similar under it.
