Q: Ricco sound bar , both treble and bass stuck on minus 14 and won't adjust

I find the remote can be really temperamental about the angle you use it at, I take you have done the obvious changed batteries and turning the speaker on and off again (not being patronising just running through everything I would do), also do the controls on the top change any values if so that would suggest the remote may be at fault not the speaker, do the other buttons on the remote work ?

Q: Can this be used to connect a stereo system CD etc, and is it good for watching movies?

The sound quality of this sound bar is very decent and fills out well in a small cinema room of 15'x15' however the Bluetooth is not entirely reliable so I would suggest finding a wired option. That said the Bluetooth does hold its own but every now and then it drops and it seems to always be at the most critical point in any film we've watched that it happens. I would say it drops about 1 in every 20 films for unknown reasons. Enough to distract, but not enough to regret buying this. As for music or any other sound unit it works well. I've even managed to control YouTube music video playlists via my Apple Watch that played through the Bluetooth on my old IPad 1 through to the sound bar. My advice is to buy this as a first step to make your sound be better before you are ready to spend the big bucks. This is not the end of the line, merely a step in the right direction to the end of the line.

Q: I can't get mine connected to a tv help.

I used a digital optical cable but depends what connection your TV has. Might be be digital coaxial or just red and white audio sockets. Long as the connections match it should work. Then press correct button on remote depending on connection.
