I overpack so I need a pillow that folds flat for space but can be easily inflated. This pillow covered both of those requirements. It is very soft fabric. It says you can remove the fabric but I do not have any opening to remove the inside pillow, no zipper or opening, so that it can be washed. It deflated easily and has a nice little carry case that is 7X 5X2 inches. Love it for the travel, not just airplane but great for crowded car trips also. I don’t remember if it came in different colors but I like the grey so it doesn’t blend in with the dark blue seats and gets left behind
