Rick Steves Croatia & Slovenia

Borrowed this book from a friend thinking I would just copy the useful pages. There were so many useful tips that I ended up buying my own copy. We're driving thru Croatia and I think the info. in this book is going to save us time driving and parking.

We have traveled over seas over 10 times and ALWAYS use Rick's travel books for travel planning. Next up? Slovenia and Croatia. Can't wait to use his recommendations to plan another amazing trip!

It is Rick Stevens. He does a good job.

All of Rick’s books are a short cut to the insider’s guide. I have used all of his European books. He guided me through museums, shops, hidden gems, Picasso’s most favorite haunts, and then to a hole in the wall tapas bar for the most amazing sardines that I have ever consumed and still crave!

We used this on a recent trip. Had maps and very helpful information. Lots of easy to follow self guided walking tours of Split, Debrovnik and Zagreb. Sad to say by the way be of our trip you could tell it was well used. Recommend this book as it is also recent so still accurate.

The Rick Steves travel guides are the best! If you are hoping to get great advice regarding independent travel including itineraries, sight seeing, places to eat, then Rick’s guides will suit you well. The information is current and the books are worth packing along on your trip.

Always informative excellent read

I found the Eyewitness Croatia better, for the reasons below:1. price (not really an issue)2. content3. quality4. presentation
