Great product

These are the professionals choice for tools for language building. Highly recommended by behaviour therapists and speech therapists I have worked with. Used in therapy sessions with children and young adults with ASD, these cards are non specific to brands, but easily recognised. Bright and attractive photographs that have enhanced teaching and enjoyed by the students using them. Fabulous, very comprehensive set. Its a shame that the UK don't seem to have a supplier.

For the price tag of over £110 you would expect these to be absolutely perfect in every way. The images are very outdated. 80% of the photos look like they were taken in the 70s and the remaining 20% (updated technology) were taken in the 90's/00's. The vehicles, electronics, furniture, sports and all other man made objects are laughable that they are so old. The images also have that strange yellow tint that old 70's/80's pictures have. The images are very Americanised with yellow buses, New York style fire engines, etc that makes it confusing for children. We've sent this item back. Because this is for educational purposes, it looks like they've hiked the price. It definitely looks like it's worth £15-£20 maximum. Even then we would still send this item back.

For the parent of an autistic child..and having to buy this for £120. I think the seller has a nerve to sell this box set of cards for that price. My partner brought these on my account. These seem to be US orientated..and I wish the seller all the misfortune that may come from selling these aids at that price.I can see why so many have warned us of the Rio off merchants in the market plaice.Look for alternatives before you buy these.. inky opinion the price tag does not justify the product.In short the seller taking advantage of desperate patents.

This has a nice variety of pictures that are snapshots, not drawings. I use these quite often with my aphasia patients and like the quality. My only dislike is the small print on back (spelling of what the word is). I use the written word quite often as well in therapy sessions and when I use these cards, I do have to write the word separately on index cards as the print on the back of these cards is way to small for my parents.

I’m a speech pathologist working in a pediatric outpatient clinic. I’ve owned these cards for a year and have gotten a lot of use out of these cards for object ID, naming, discussing object functions, categorizing and describing. Honestly I like how comprehensive this is but I definitely don’t use every single card. I’ve also had to laminate the cards I use most frequently because they aren’t suuuper durable given I work with a lot of young children. I also think these would be good if you work with adults since they aren’t cartoony. Overall I really like these and they are very functional for my purposes. I like that they are updated with pictures from this decade :).

Cons:- not so much pictures renewed from the last version (looks like they simply replaced pictures that are outdated)- it is expensive- some pictures are identically matching; some are not.- i wish there are more examplars for some of the items instead of having so many pictures of cats, beds, etc.Pros:- Cards are nice- it saves huge amount of your time by buying this product - making the same materials will takes hours and hours.

old pictures. not the best for low functioning kids. the seller never cares about buyers satisfaction. be aware that if you return it, you lose 20% of the price, and have to pay for shipment!!
