Gel Almond Shape Nails, 600 pieces, 10 sizes
The nails came in a nice plastic box that is really easy to open. You get 600, 10 different full cover sizes of nails to choose from and the nails themselves are all marked and half of the nail on inside has a little bit of texture for better adhesion. I didn’t like that the inside of the nail case itself, didn’t have the nail sizes marked on the inside of the lid. The nails are also staticky and stick to your fingers and clothes when trying to pick sizes which was also annoying, didn’t have this issue with my other set from a different company. The nails are flexible, transparent, and curved so if you have bigger, flatter especially thumb nails, they are a bit tricky to use. The size zero wasn’t quite big enough for the thumbs and I feel having another 2 bigger sizes would have been a major plus in this kit like in some others I have used before. The nails were too long for my model, so I trimmed them to her taste using toe nail clippers which worked perfect to cut through the nails in less time and it was easier to fit the nails inside the jaws rather than use standard nail clippers. Filed the rough edges using a flat 100/80 grit nail file back into rounded look and she was pleased.Prepping:1. Size each hand and lay out in order. I glue 1 hand at a time.2. Gently abrade natural nail surface using a fine grit sandpaper drum file (Mandrel) with electric nail drill (MelodySusie Scarlet model) as well as undersides of each nail tip. (I feel this way gets much better prep/adhesion than just using a nail file).3. Use a piece of paper towel with alcohol to wipe off excess nail dust on both natural nails & underside of gel nails. DON’T USE COTTON BALL WITH ALCOHOL, LEAVES LITTLE FINE STRINGS!4. Apply prep coat (I used YN Protein Bond), Let dry.5. 1 at a time glue each nail (I used NYK1 Superstrong Nailbond) & apply pressure for 45 seconds after placement to ensure secure fit without bubbles/lifting. (I have YN nail glue on order but hasn’t arrived yet).6. Place hand under UV/LED light (I used SUNUV) for 30 seconds each hand. Gently use nail file or electric nail drill on ends of nail tips, sides and cuticle areas as well as underside of nails to remove any rough edges or excess glue. Wipe again with paper towel and alcohol to remove any dust.7. Paint polish of your choice (used OPI regular polish, 2 coats each hand w/Essie for French tip) and then cured under UV/LED light for 120 seconds each hand. (Model wanted more of a natural looking nail).8. Paint on top coat. Be sure to check to see if top coat needs to be air dried or light cured! If it needs to be light cured, try 160-180 seconds on each hand. Gently check to see if still tacky or set. I did use a top coat that wasn’t compatible and it ate away at the color underneath and I had to start over. I have YN Gel Top Coat on order but hasn’t arrived yet.

Nicely shaped tips, with good variety of sizes, to fit most nails.
This XINYA BAO set of full cover soft gel nail tips comes in a reusable storage case & includes 600 pcs.; plenty to last for tons of manicures. The 10 different sizes will allow you to find your perfect fit, though I sometimes wish companies would include more size choices for index & pointer fingers rather than just focusing on multiples for thumbs--though I get that it's sometimes hard to fit thumbs perfectly. These tips are pre-buffed on the half you'll be adhering to your nail, so less prep is needed. I'd still recommend doing your full prep of nail dehydrator & primer though. These tips are flexible as described & have a bit of a C-curve built into the design. They're also thinner at the cuticle area & slightly thicker at the free edge, which is what I look for in all nail tips.At this time (& at the time of my order), the product name includes the description "Square", but these are actually a Medium Coffin shape. (For some reason, the product sticker on the bottom of my storage case also calls them "Almond", but luckily the version I received does match the product photos of coffin-shaped tips.)TIP: If you have any slightly wonky nails that tilt crookedly or have uneven nail beds, I'd recommend trying solid nail glue gel for adhering the tips. You'll have a much easier time setting the tips to compensate for any irregular nails, especially if you do your own nails. Plus, it makes curing easier without having to rely on clips to hold nail tips in place.

Really like the shape and size of these tips!
Disclaimer: I did receive this item for free to try out. HOWEVER! All opinions are my own and I pride myself on unbiased reviews that can help others decide whether something is worth it.600 pieces. That’s A LOT of fake nails! I have no idea how I’m going to use all of these but it’s going to be a lot of fun trying out different nail designs!!! I can make my own nail designs and just keep reusing them instead of doing it on my actual nails where after a couple weeks I’ll have to destroy it and take it all off. I am also going to be using these with polygel! Super excited as this will be my first time trying out polygel! I’ll check back in later and let you guys know how it goes! These are a very decent size, you can even cut it and file it down if it’s too long for you. These tips actually feel really nice and they're pretty flexible without comprising the sturdiness and durability. These are really nice! These come in 10 sizes inside a sturdy plastic divided box. The box is really great quality so after you’re done using all the nail tips you can easily reuse this box for other things! Just win/win with these!

Thinner & More Flexible than Lots of Other Options
My nails have been really flimsy and weak as far back as I can remember. I have a memory from when I was 19-20 of a time I put one hand into my pants pocket and came out with three broken nails. I enjoy nail polish and have quite a lot of it, but after removing polish my nails peel for MONTHS afterward, so I rarely get to wear it. I thought I'd give these a try with the press-on adhesive tabs I got from Amazon months ago, as the glue would probably make a bad situation worse. I also got these to help showcase what a polish color looks like actually applied, by painting and adhering them to the bottles/handles of nail polish. There are a ton of each size in this box!One thing to be aware of when choosing nail shapes is that Style 4 is actually "short almond" even though the picture shown says "short stiletto." I've attached a photo of the box I received, for reference.
