Q: The diagrams show two tubes (one either end) it has just been delivered but there is only one?? where is the second one?

Hi, I remember facing the same initial dilemma but the answer is that the makers supply a single length for the buyer to cut into two tubes at the best point for their situation. In my case I wanted to drain a reservoir in the base of a water feature so I was able to choose a length to best fit the height of the entry hole and the depth of the features tank while leaving sufficient tubing to attach to the other side of the pump which had to feed into a lower placed receiving vessel. Note there is an arrow marked on the body of the pump to indicate the proper direction of flow of the liquid being siphoned. Prime the pump with a few initial squeezes then watch as the flow continues by itself. Great little gadget but a little sparse on instructions!
