Bought because of the house on the cover but the rest of the book is more exteriors than interiors so not what I expected.

While I'm not a professional working in the field, I love wood and working with wood, and found a lot of the imagery inspiring. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to order this book and receive delivery so quickly, I came across my reference to it in a design magazine from the 90's.

Very disappointing. I ordered this on the strength of the cover - I love Atlanta Bartlett's style and work. However, inside it is totally different - and then I discovered that it was a republication of a book first published in 1997, which explains why the internal photographs look so dated. The publishers have obviously jumped onto the bandwagon of sheds/beachhouses etc. being the new thing and chosen to put this out again with a new updated (and up to date) cover. Since I know I will never read it, I returned it for a full refund.

Inspirational book, but may be a bit too American, would like to see a book about traditional English/British wooden houses.
