Until you get it in your hands.My initial thought was, ‘For $30, I could get my girlfriend a couple of her best-loved lipsticks from Sephora. Or, a Lululemon We-Made-Too-Much top. Or, her favorite band on vinyl.’But, as soon as I puled it out of the box, everything changed. This thing is just as cute as a dinosaur can be. Very soft. And, very weighted (in a really good way). Squeeze the head and it’s plush. Squeeze the body and it’s like bean-bag filling. Super huggable. And, he (or, she) is just chillin’ on the ground in alligator-mode looking adorable.When I re-read the description after receiving it, they had mentioned ‘weighted’ 3 times in the title and 6 times in the description. But, it just didn’t hit home until I held it in real life. It’s a seriously good product.And, though they mentioned it was for adults, if your kid loves dinosaurs, this thing is going to outlast their childhood. Whether it’s for a kid, yourself, or another adult, you really can’t go wrong with this.

My 13 year old loves it. It calms his anxiety. he’s named the dinosaur timmy.

This little pink dino is absolutely adorable! It’s so soft and so wonderful to cuddle with. My 6 year old loves sleeping with this stuffy. This is her first weighted plush and she has slept with it every night since we got it. She tells me that she loves how heavy it is and she likes to put it on her back or on her tummy when she’s laying down.I weighed the dino and she came in at 2lb 10.6oz, most of the weight is in the feet and the bottom portion of the belly. It feels like the weight comes from some kind of plastic bean type filling. I tried to get a bean out to see what it was made of, after getting one to the tip of the toe I managed to get it partially out and I noticed the filling seem contained inside some kind of netting. So that’s nice knowing there’s a second layer to keep the beans from coming out. The head and back don’t have much weight, I kind of wish the weight was a bit more distributed throughout the toy, but that’s just my opinion.Overall I’m very pleased with this stuffy, it’s very high quality. My daughter absolutely loves it and loves the weight of it.

Very nice to use while trying to fall asleep or even for deep pressure therapy. The dino is cute and I love the colors! This is the perfect weight for carrying around too.

This an excellent alternative to a weighted blanket. My little girl would struggle under a weighted blanket, but having a hefty stuffy has served the same purpose. It's so soft! It's stretchy and posable. I was blown away by the quality! Just recently ordered a "sister" for her and can't wait to see them together.

My son doesn’t like to sleep, he loves his new buddy and so do I. He falls asleep quickly when we lay his Dino on him.

So I've never had a weighted stuffed animal or blanket or anything before, but definitely have anxiety and have wanted to try one. This little guy is surprisingly comforting! He's not very big, but feels heavier than I expected, and seems well made. The fabric is SO SOFT, and even his little feet have weights in them. Holding him in my lap or over my shoulder is kind of like holding one of my cats, but without the squirming and claws LOL. I'm so happy with him. :)

What’s odd is that I have a similar supposedly weighted plush that’s twice the size of this one, but this is actually heavier than the larger one I own.. There’s lots of weighted beads in the bottom of this plush and the material is very soft and squishy. A cute and simple design and an adorable addition to my collection and would make a great gift!
