They work well on our Cavadoodle pup, but you have to brush thoroughly beforehand as they catch on ‘tats’ in their curly hair. I thought they would be quieter than they are - but the buzzing noise doesn’t bother him so it’s fine. Before using them, I turned them on ( in background) while playing with him and he stopped, looked and carried on playing.

Cut my two cockers once each, now they are too blunt to cut. Useless, and ended up being more expensive than taking my dogs to a groomer. I thought as these weren’t cheap, they would be good quality. Don’t waste your money.

These clip hair well and the guide blades are much better than plastic ones.Down side are quite loud and screechy and a bit heavy

I spent ages looking around and reading reviews for dog clippers. I'm pleased I paid a little bit more and got these.My Cocker Spaniel doesn't like noises so I turned these on away from him and slowly brought the base towards him and touched the body of the clipper on him for a few minutes. He just stood there! these have a low vibration and a low pitched noise and he was fine (by the way he runs a mile if I turn on the Wahl Paw Tidy Pet Trimmer as they are so high pitched)I've learnt quite quickly that the way to go with dog grooming is to use the swapable blades rather than comb attachments and these are not cheap. This comes with a 10 but I purchased a 7F and a 4F for my Cocker. Clipper works fine, but blade lasted one cut, then it was blunt. It was oiled as is should be.

Watched a few youtube videos before starting which really helped. My dog has a very curly coat but after he is washed conditioned and combed these clippers work so smoothly. During the groom regularly stop to clean an oil the cutter head for best results. For the price I think they work much better than expexted.

These cope well for my cockapoo u need to make sure the coat is clean and fully brushed. Logan is such a good boy u can do anything with him these clippers went through his coat with no issue. I use wahl trimmers as well for awkward areas I bought I 30 blade as well u get a 10 blade which is good for private area I use the 30 blade and use the metal comb attachments. I use smaller comb for his body legs and longer combs for his head face and tail. I’m no groomer but did a fair job will groom him again save a lot of money as the price gone up.
