A Master composers Best
Just think of all the great Film themes of recent years and think John Williams! Here is a collection of the Best and arranged by Dan Coates which means lush yet simple voicings.A word of warning here, the word Easy is a comparative term, if you are a beginner you will not be able to play at first sight, however they are simple enough to break down and work on bit by bit and, like all Dan Coates arrangements, they repay the effort, from the solid 'Raiders March' to the beautiful and intricate 'Can you Read My Mind' these arrangements sound great, and what's more although, as I said these are simplified arrangements, it really sounds like you are a very advanced player. I would say that perhaps these are graded at level 2 to 3, but as the fingerings are given and nothing is too difficult anyone can, with a bit of effort play these and sound like a proIf you need some more music for your repertoire (or if you just love good music) I can recommend this book

Full of Classics from the movies
My son is currently doing his Grade 3 ABRSM. He's had this book for a while and spent a long time learning 'Star Wars' and 'Hedwig's Theme'. The versions sound great when they're played and some are harder than others. I don't think a hardcore traditional piano teacher would approve of this book as a learning tool, perhaps because of the techniques which these songs perhaps don't employ, but which tend to form part of the syllabus, however it's a great book for boosting kids interest in playing. Skill level wise I would say this book is suitable for an ambitious Grade 2 player who is prepared to spend time learning a tune. More accomplished players might just be able to sight-read it off the fly. Some of the songs look more complicated than others, but my son was able to put together a great version of Star Wars and Hedwigs Theme.

Great Book!
I bought this book after going to watch the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Carl Davis performing a celebration of John Williams movie music at the Charter Theatre in Preston. Highly recommended night out! All the classics are there from Star Wars, Superman, Raiders of the Lost Ark and others. I took the book along to my organ teacher and he was so impressed with the Dan Coates arrangements that he asked me to order him a book also! Our lessons have been based on this music ever since which helps rather than performing unknown music. I am not taking any grades and I have only been learning for just over a year but this book contains arrangements that are achievable with a little work. A lot of the music has additional organ information (such as D7/C, D7 chord with C bass pedal etc.). Some of the pieces don't quote chords but these can be worked out easily. I would highly recommend this book.

fairly easy and good recognisable theme tunes
Bought for my daughter who is grade 6 piano. She finds it quite easy and so enjoyed sitting down and being able to play recognisable themes without a lot of hard work first.Happy with this purchase

Brilliantly written. Full marks from me
Brilliant book. Music is around grade 3 give or take some songs being easier and some harder as you would expect. The music is well written and gives you the feeling that you aren't playing a watered down version of the song. I picked it up because I wanted something I could just pick up and play and this certainly gave me that. Can't recommend this book enough

Excellent. Our house rings with the sound of the Cantina band when my son is practising before breakfast. He is also learning The Imperial March, for when his mum visits ;-)

Definitely not easy piano level
Maybe I have different expectations of what "easy piano" should be, but generally if I know a song from memory, and the music has the guitar chords too, I can play some resemblance of what the song should sound like right off the bat. This book lacks much of the music with guitar chords, and as they don't show you this in the description, it's not until after you've bought the book you realise. If you're buying sheet music to spend time learning it in depth, then I'd have no complaints, but if you're a casual player who wants to be able to play this "on sight" then unless you're more gifted than I am, might be worth looking elsewhere.

So much fun!
The media could not be loaded. Even with all the dumb prequels this book is brilliant. Super accessible, smack in the middle of intermediate level, i love it.Ordering second one for my nephew!

Great Sheet Music for Cinephiles
A lot of classic songs are provided here, including the themes to Jurassic Park and Harry Potter, and others like the Imperial March from Star Wars. A very good purchase for cinephiles!

The Very Best of John Williams
Ottimo libro per chi vuole suonare le musiche di Williams senza avere grandi difficoltà pianistiche. Brani ben arrangiati. Un libro assolutamente consigliabile.
