I really like this product because it smells exactly like frankincense. It's a large bottle that will last a while. The only thing that kind of throws my recipes is that the oil is kind of thick. Almost like Egyptian musk but a little lighter. Also, it turns my projects brown or yellowish. So keep that in mind. Otherwise, it's a great fragrance oil.

I used this to make soap and the batch was ruined. It must have added chemicals because I’ve never had this happen to me before.

This frankincense oil is quite potent and the scent is very persistent. It is wonderful for scenting homemade candles and body lotions, and the scent is exactly as I expect of frankincense. The oil goes a long way in wax or in body lotions, and this bottle will last me quite a while. The bottle was very generously sized and will last a while because I only needed to use a few drops at a time. The essential oil had a strong frankincense scent (smells like incense and a musky scent). I put a few drops in my diffuser and it scented up my apartment. This essential oil shouldn't be applied directly to skin without another carrier oil.

The scent was nice but the bottle was completely damaged during transit so I had to return it.

This is very frankincense. Mostly not in a bad way, super strong. Very pungent. I could smell the contents outside of the box. This didn't translate super well for opening and storing the container. A little goes a super long way here and the bottle is huge. I strongly suspect this will go "off" before I can finish it (mostly mixing oils for personal use). The color on this is super strong as well so it definitely tints anything it comes into contact with in terms of carriers or mixing.Overall the scent on this is pretty nice, it's not my favorite frankincense (but I can't for the life of me recall which I prefer) but it's perfectly lovely for my needs. As far as anything further to add, I feel like this needs a home. It scented my entire living area when I left it there, and if it's not something you want to smell everywhere, I'd store it out of the way or find another more scent-proof container. This leeched through everything. More than anything I think that speaks to the quality/potency here.

I love the smell of Frankincense and to me this smells amazing. Rich & sensual and tranquil at the same time. I have used fragrance oils from the Plan Guru before and they behave great in my handcrafted soaps and smells wonderful. There are so many other ways to use this fragrance oil as well and you can add a few drops to a carrier oil to make a roll on fragrance. This is made in the USA.
