I loved this book. Although I am from Peoria and was the high school principal at Richwoods during the 4 state titles that Manual took. So I knew a lot of the players in this book. For me it was thrilling to re-live this time period.

Happened to be at the last Central vs. Manual game when this amazing book was being sold out in the foyer. Had a chance to meet the author, Jeff Karzen, and he had me sold in less than 5 minutes. Captures the history of Peoria, IL basketball perfectly and does not sugar coat the hardships of a player living in Peoria. Highly recommended this book if you are a fan of basketball in any way!
