The hat is quality from start to finish. From packaging to post to me, it was a pleasure. It was like getting a surprise Christmas gift. The leather is a lovely tan type suede. The panels and stitching are robust. The lining and band are excellent look and quality. The fit is true to size. In the world of Baker Boy or Newsboy hats, Stetson are not the cheapest but in my opinion they are the best and terrific value for money. I bought this one to (in some respects) replace my other one of more than ten years. I wore it during very poor weather, while doing some major outdoor works. It ended up dirty, dishevelled, faded and I nearly discarded it. Luckily I put it in the washing machine on 30 degrees (not recommended generally) and apart from sticking it on my head while drying for shape it survived well. I put black shoe cream on it and buffed it and it’s as good as new. Stetson’s quality and value is incredible.

I am always a bit nervous about buying a hat on the internet, especially one which is, lets put it NOT CHEAP. Anyway I measured my head (a few times) selected my size and waited. It was everything and more than I expected. I love it and it has quickly become "my hat to impress people" ............just joking, I only dress to please or impress myself:-) Nevertheless it does impress people and I can't help that.Again it is better than it appears in the photos so buy with confidence (but not too many of you, I don't want it to become common)PS Being leather I try not to wear it in the rain so I don't know how it reacts. I was once given a spanish leather "cowboy" hat and wore it in a downpour. I made a mistake of putting it near a radiator and when I went back for it the next day it wouldn't have fitted a cocoanut. I wouldn't expect a hat of this quality to react in a similar way though but I have bought some recommended waterproofing just in case.

Really pleased with my purchase, yes I agree with other reviews, this Stetson hat fits well is well made with quality material.

This cap replaced my old Stetson. It's comfortable, superb in the rain, and and is a class product. Could not be more satisfied with my purchase.

This is an excellent baker boy style hat, beautifully made and will become a firm favourite. I would normally have gone for a size smaller but previous reviews suggested trying a size up and for me that works as it fits snuggly but not too tight. Initially it takes a bit of wearing for it to assume the typical baker boy shape ... it must trap air inside it!Five stars for delivery too. I ordered it late afternoon and it arrived by courier the following morning; you can't ask better than that!

Had a XL as I have got quite a large head (Cesarean Baby) and am usually a L/XL but when got the hat I could spin it round on my head. So sent back and got prompt refund. Nothing wrong with hat but just not for me. Gave it a 4* instead of 5* because thought it was a bit expensive for what you got.

If you want something to put on your head that is smart and a bit different, buy one. It's really surprisingly comfortable, looks good and seems well made - I expect it to last well. On the inside lining is a prominent Stetson logo, which becomes an occasional talking point when you leave it lying around. Outwardly the branding is very subtle so doesn't label the wearer. Recommended.

Fantastico, un prodotto di qualità eccezionale che, certamente, ha il suo costo, ma che vale senza dubbio i soldi spesi. Per chi, come me, non era abituato ad un copricapo con la calzata così ampia, effettivamente il primo impatto è stato traumatizzante: sembrava di avere davvero, come scritto da un altro utente, un grosso fungo in testa. In realtà bisogna solo abituare l'occhio e lasciare che la coppola, gonfia per via dell'imbottitura di carta a protezione presente nella confezione, si vada rimodellando da sé pian piano, dopo essere stata appesa per un po. La tentazione di fare il reso c'è stata, non lo nego, ma provando e riprovando più volte mi sono alla fine reso conto che è una caratteristica del modello quello di sembrare esageratamente largo. Adesso non ne farei mai a meno, è il cappello a cui tengo di più. Segnalo che il prodotto si caratterizza per il fatto di costituire un perfetto equilibrio tra un utilizzo quotidiano, su abbigliamento ordinario, per via del suo aspetto sgualcito e vissuto, e un utilizzo per occasioni particolari, su un abbigliamento più ricercato, per via dei suoi riflessi cangianti, nonché per il fatto che i prodotti in pelle sono da sempre sinonimo di eleganza. In altre parole, comunque venga usato, non sfigurerà mai. Piccola annotazione, infine, sulla misura: questa differisce lievemente da quella degli altri Stetson che ho acquistato in precedenza e che riportano una misura unica e specifica (io calzo la 60). Questo modello invece corrisponde - nel mio caso - ad una 60/61 (misura XL), dunque risulta un pizzichino largo (ma è sempre meglio abbondare un po' rispetto al ritrovarsi con una misura strettina). Ne consiglio, in ogni caso, l'acquisto poichè ne vale la pena.

Very disappointed with the quality...the interior headband in front is lumpy and hard in places....Was going to return it...The quality is just not there on this Stetson...if it's an authentic one to begin with....look elsewhere!
