Solar Charging Feature is very ineffective - waste of money
This item is not at all what I expected! I've had the portable charger for about 2 months now and I wish I never bought it. I wanted to wait a while longer before giving it an honest review but this product has not meet any of my expectations in the short time that I've been using it. I was hoping to just use the solar charging feature for several reasons. (1) it's eco-friendly and convenient when outdoors, (2) I thought the charge would be fast (less than 12 hours) and hold for multiple days... That was wrong, the battery died several times and didn't even charge in the sunlight when it died. It also charges very slowly via sunlight - I'm talking 1-2 weeks. and (3) when I used the wall charger that was included in the packaging it would make a loud hissing sound in any outlet I put it in, the usb port would also start to get warm. I didn't feel comfortable leaving it to charge for an extended period of time. I'd return the product, but it seems I waited to long and now I'm stuck with it.Do yourself a favor and skip this product

Seems to only work for androids. Doesn't work with my iPhone -- gave it to my husband.

Bought this to replace my older 11,000mAh bank in my emergency kit. I cannot attest to how fast the solar cells charge it up as I haven't tried, but I reckon it's a last resort kind of thing. The cells simply aren't big enough, nor are there enough of them, to really recharge the battery quickly. I *can* confirm that they work under most kinds of white light though. The little charge meter comes on when photons hit the cells. But like I said, you should probably have this thing charged up via the wall BEFORE disaster strikes if you want to keep your devices on.

Well I charged it up when I got it, then I let my phone run down to 50% and I was able to do that 5 times. So on a full charge it'll recharge my phone 5 times without recharging it.

It's a brick when I needed it most
Ordered and received about 1 year ago. This is kept in my earthquake but out/survival bag for just in case, right? I lay it out in the sun every couple on months to (hopefully) make sure it has a charge. Plugged my cell phone into it last summer and saw it was taking a charge so I figured this was a good thing and no worries. So I'm on an open job site with now charger and the phone dies but I figure hey, I've got the solar charger. Plugged in and the charger indicator came on and immediately went off. I figure well maybe its still charging anyway...? Nope. Phone went deab black in less than a minute. I've since set the solar pack back out in the sun for 3-1/2 hours and tried again. Nope. Not a single uptick in power with another device (iPad). Thanks for nothing.

Needed go find something that has a big capacity and could be easily charged when im away and this does exactly that.First off it came with a full charge but I left it in the wall for the night just to be sure, I was away for the weekend and i think it could easily charge my iphone and ipad 3-4 times easily.Also in love with the idea that i could just leave it on the roof of the car while i go riding and have some extra juice when i get back to the car.This solar portable charger is awesome!

this charger really doesnt work do not buy it because to 4 months later it will not charge any pf yop
I bought this product not less than a year ago, for the past 3 months the blue lights were constantly lit up, I'm not sure if it was charging or draining, but the blue light is constantly on. I tried charging my phone and laptop it doesn't work. i have let it fully drain and go dead and recharged it and it still will not charge any of my portable products. phone, kindle or laptop. do not purchase this charger. 5 months later it will not work.

This Solar Power Bank is very Useful for me when I went camping with the family. This is 24K mAh Capacity so we are able to charge our phones without any issues. This Solar Power Bank has 3 OutLets.One Outlet is 5V/1A whereas other two outlets are 5V/2A. The Other good thing is it has a Torch Light Also. If you press the Power Button, the light will turn on.
