This is the third SIGG water bottle I have bought after accidentally landing on the bottle I usually take climbing and causing a massive dent. I filled the bottle with water and froze it to try to get the dent out, but unfortunately I slightly over did it on the amount of water and the bottle exploded in the freezer :PIf you have never bought a SIGG water bottle before you might be worried about the water being tainted with a weird taste. I have never experienced such a problem even after leaving the water for a couple of days. In this regard I don't think I would treat this bottle any differently to a plastic bottle.The bottles are light-weight and seal well, however being made out of aluminium they are susceptible to dents and bumps. Given the activities I take these bottles out on I see these dents as something of a keep-sake which add character to the bottle, but I can see why some people would be put off by it. In terms of the longevity of the paint on this particular bottle I cannot really advise, but other painted SIGG bottles I have seen begin to peel only after many years of sustained use.This particular SIGG bottle is a very nice looking one. The colour is what I would describe as ceramic white but with a glossy finish, and overall it looks great :)

Finally a bottle that is not made in the Country that you are not allowed mention on here.Great bottle BPA free, light weight and holds water well.I would recommend, however I would also say that the Stainless steel would likely be better as the Aluminum does have a slightly strange taste.

Absolutely fantastic bottle but it came out of it’s Amazon packaging with a big scratch from top to bottom, it’s only cosmetic but in a store this would be less than full price because of the issue. Sending back for a replacement is a waste of my time and money, better quality control needed at the warehouse level.

These bottles are not cheap, but worth every dollar. Top quality and thick side walls. Unlike many other brands, has option of narrow neck or wide neck for easy cleaning or for adding ice cubs. Top quality shock resistant polyethene cap material. Not junky platic that can crack when dropped on a hard surface. Gaskets are top quailty stable Polyethalene distortion and split resistant no leak type. Not cheap junky old rubber type gaskets comonly seen on other brands.Conclusion. If you want long life tough leak proof bottles get these and forget the rest, or waste your money and get wet with an inferior brand.
