Hümagel is Tasty and Easy! Easy to use, Easy on the stomach and tasty!
I really enjoyed the flavors! It’s hard to balance natural ingredients with something that tastes good. Hümagel have found a way.I like the overall concept and really like how easy it was to use on my turbo trainer session. I like that the ingredients, nothing to hide and I can pronounce them all and recognize most which is a good sign. It’s not always easy to digest during a long bike ride. Hümagel was very easy to digest.Like the different strengths for caffeine too. I really liked the chocolate and raspberry pack, great flavor and not grainy at all. The pure raspberry was a little grainy for me.I didn’t need water with the gel personally which is important to me.Would recommend and buy again.

Best gels so far
I am currently training for the London Marathon. Since the start of my training cycle I have been looking for gels with three key criteria; 1) the product needs to be 100% natural; 2) the gels would gentle enough to prevent any GI issues!!!; and 3) the gel should be easily taken - it is not too thick and sticky. I have tried many of the other gels available on the market. For various reasons I have not found a gel that meets my requirements, until I came across the HUMA gel. So far I tried the Berry pomegranate, and chocolate raspberry gels. The taste on both were clean, with no stickiness or after taste. I also found that I did not need to take any water with it - although I did as part of my fuelling strategy. I also found that I had no GI issues either during or after the run - which is a key point for me. I also found that they gave me enough energy without it being a short, artificial boost.I now feel confident that I have found the gels that I will use for the rest of my training plan and in the Marathon itself.Give it a try for yourself - loads of different flavours.

Good for sensitive stomachs
I ordered these for long distance running as I find normal gels give me stomach problems. I have been looking for something vegan and gluten free that is closer to food rather than a synthetic substance, so thought I'd give these a go. Ordered and delivered next day. Took them on a 28 mile training run to try them out before an event in August and have to say the flavours that we did taste were lovely. Chocolate was really nice, not too sweet and sticky and went down really well. I also had the mango and enjoyed that as well, it had the consistency of jam and again not too sweet and sticky like some gels are. The caffeine really gives you a boost especially towards the end of the run and I encountered no gut problems from any of the gels. Will definitely use these again. They were a good price as well. Looking forward to trying the other flavours and maybe the extra electrolyte gels as well

Amazing Energy Gels with Excellent taste!
I'm a long distance runner and had tried pretty much all the energy gels out there, and have to say that Huma Gels are a game changer. They provide you with the energy boost and hydration you would expect, and the biggest plus for me is that they use natural ingredients and are super easy to digest (I have a metabolic disorder so my body doesn't work well with processed foods and ingredients I can't pronounce). They taste and feel like homemade fruit jam and they are easy to open and consume on the go. I just wish I have discovered those earlier! Totally recommend for early morning or longer runs.

Honestly they are good for those who do not really like gels
I usually use Clif or Gu gels for races and long runs. Why, because I can swallow them in one go and the taste of salt caramel, espresso or chocolate based flavours are not to bad. However, during an ultra I always end up with gut rot after 4 or 5 gels. End up not eating properly and then finish races badly. So as an experiment I thought I would try Huma for the Brecon to Cardiff Ultra. They are not so thick as Clif or Gu and not as watery as SIS or High5. Almost the perfect consistency. They do not taste chemically or fake and the blueberry actually tasted like blueberry. Overall they went down well and I had no problems with gut rot or feeling like I couldn't face any real food either. Really please with them.I have since used they on a trail training run on the Mendips and again no issues. No sticky mess. They don't leave a weird flavour in your mouth. Only complaint is that there was only one mocka flavour in the box. Now if someone could make a tea (not fruit, not green but builder's tea) that would make me happy.

Tasty!
Great flavours and easy on the stomach, but best of all 100% natural.

Great taste, clean product but the bits take getting used to!
Purchased a variety pack and I have to say that the flavours and tastes are great. The Apple cinnamon was particularly good tasting just like a good apple pie filling and the mango was a close second with that little sharpness that most mango pretenders miss leaving them too sickly sweet.I was a bit disappointed that the variety pack was not available with an option to have non caffeine only, but that is usually the case with most mixed packs. The biggest critical feedback I would give is that the gels are quite lumpy/gritty, not I know this is most likely the chia in them but it does take a bit of getting used to if you are accustomed to smoother gels...it certainly caused me to pause and recoil the first time I tried one myself. After using them only 4/5 times so far it still is slightly unpleasant to me but I have been very happy with the energy results and also have had zero digestion issues with them,

Will switch to these from now on
I recently purchased a 12 pack of these after using a different brand for the past few years. I tested these out on a recent bike and run session and will be using them in a half ironman race this weekend. The texture is different than SIS. These are slightly thicker and have a more 'filling' sensation which I personally preferred. The flavors are extremely natural and do not have an over sweet or chemically enhanced taste which is a real positive.Energy levels felt great throughout and felt like these kept me going over the 4-5 hour session. All in all, i am really pleased with the purchase. I will be testing again this weekend in a race scenario so will provide further feedback following that.
