I love this blanket. It's perfect for cold nights as we don't like to keep the heating on 24/7. I honestly don't ever go higher than level 1, as it gets quite warm. It shuts itself off after a few hours, and I haven't had any issues with the cord overheating. My only complaint was that the cord is white not black, and it's not as big as I hoped. It's almost as big as my double bed, but not quite-so it's more of a one person blanket.

Amazing blanket! We upgraded from a smaller one as the heat helps with chronic pain! By far one of the best purchases I've made.
