This is a great idea. Simple but incredibly effective. We store our kitty litter in our laundry room this allows for the cat to enter but keeps our dog out. It also prevents our roomba mop from entering which is a very big plus! Recommend highly!!

i use it so my cat can go inside and out of my bedroom at night. the products plastic is thick and not cheap. the adjustable metal screw in pin is also well made.

The first time you use it make sure you're not in the room and use the smallest opening. I did and was unable to open it. Once I figured it out, I use it every night so my cat can get in and out of my room.
