Really enjoyed this manuka honey. Sweet, creamy and delicious. Bit of a different flavour but you start to enjoy it. The benefits of honey in general are good but his takes it up a notch.

I've been purchasing a different brand for some time now because it seemed to have the best price, was good quality, tasted good, and had proved to be consistent in all those things over the past few purchases.I was just about to reorder when this brand caught my eye because it was priced lower but offered higher quality (higher MGO, etc). The reviews were mixed but I decided to take a chance and I'm 5 star happy that I did!It came packaged really well, so there was no leaking from the container during shipping. I opened it to see that it was that nice and thick consistency I'd been used to and enjoyed. The taste is also great. Sweet, as honey is expected to be, but not so overpowering that it would be too much sweetness.If you've never tried these types of honey before and are used to the typical store-bought consistency (somewhat more liquidy, similar to syrup), then be aware that these are different, as in the consistency is very thick. If I turned the open container upside down it would take some time for the contents to actually pour out. It's also almost a "grainy" texture. Not like dried up sugary honey but "textured" is the best word I can find to describe.It's got great health benefits and although this brand offers different versions with very high MGO levels and etc, you don't necessarily need the highest levels to get the great benefits from it.I typically use it in my hot tea in the evening, I use about half of a flatware teaspoon mixed into a full size mug of hot tea, and it add just enough sweetness to add to the enjoyability but not to overpower the tea flavor either.I haven't purchased regular store bought honey in a very long time. Occasionally I'll purchase locally curated honey during or before allergy season, simply because it helps to build a defense against local allergens, but you'll always find these New Zealand raw manuka honey's on hand in my kitchen.

I loved this honey not too sweet and can take it with any drink

I have used other Manuka Honey before and I think this is the best value I have found. I use it to control bad bacteria in my gums. It works great !! Just rub some Manuka Honey on my gums after brushing. I later follow up with oral probiotic. As far as I can tell my gums seem healthy. I have read that if you have bad bacteria infection in your gums the bacteria can spread to your heart and cause heart problems. I actually like the taste of Manuka Honey.
