GorillaGlue 500ml

This is a fantastic product that has replaced PVA glue in the majority of timber and building uses for me. I have routinely used it on timber to timber, timber to concrete, stone repairs and timber to board.The best description I have heard of this is as a 'foaming' glue. In contact with moisture (even just from the air) it reacts and expands, filling small voids between the surfaces to be glued - this is why it is so strong - the whole of the two surfaces are effectively joined whereas other glues may only be in part contact.I even tried this out by pouring it into the loose joints of an old door with no other reinforcing - once dry it was solid as a rock and I was just able to rub back, fill and paint the door with minimal work. A real timesaver.Pros:+ Incredibly strong - a direct replacement for mechanical (drill and screw/plug) fixings in many cases+ Quick drying+ Economical - a little goes a long wayCons:- Do not get it on you, it stains and sticks rather badly (trust me...been there!)- It can expand more than you expect and run; if it does just let it dry and cut off any excess dried glue DO NOT try to wipe wet glue away, it will go everywhere (again, trust me on that one...)It is worth considering what size to buy. By far the most economical size if you need it is the 1 litre but that is more than most people will use in a long time. I have bought the 500ml and 115ml, and carefully used both as you are supposed to be used by squeezing the air out of the container when finished in use. After 18 months I have one 500ml bottle that is half full but still completely useable, but I have also just had to throw away a 115ml bottle, with about a third left, as it had gone solid. I suspect that the amount of air in only a small bottle of glue was too much for it. For me that makes the 500ml the best deal, with no wastage.Thoroughly recommended.

Used on some paving flags that come loose made them firm and safe to walk on would buy again

Fantastic glue. Remember to wet the area slightly before applying. As once it contact it reacts with the water and expands. Easy to cut off excess after it dries.

This stuff is a good outdoor glue.

Excellent value and the product does what l intended it for.

Great product I used it to fill cracks in concrete boundary wall after it had set sanded down painted. Got some glue on finger and could not use smart phone so use gloves as advised.

This is an amazing product from Gorilla Glue and it does everything it says on the container if the instructions are followed to the letter.This Gorilla Glue Original WILL stick anything to anything without fail and my only regret is that I didn't purchase it before now.

Used this to fit loose paving slabs, worked a treat, far easier then relaying mortar etc etc.
