Poor zippers
Have only used it in dry desert camping, so dont know how moisture resistant ut actually is, but the zippers are typical weak sauce. Easy to damage and be un-zip-able

Not bad!!
I was a little apprehensive from the reviews I saw online, but for the price I’m pretty satisfied. Used it for the first time and it thunderstormed in the night and only a little water got through. It held up pretty well! If you’re willing to take a chance, it’s worth trying!

A nice tent but expensive
This product shipped quickly and in minimal waste packaging. upon receiving this tent I went out in the back yard and was able to set it up with very little trouble and with just myself. the tent is big enough pretty much for one person or two teens. the tent has great airflow and minimal pieces. It is just as easy to put away. Some pieces seam flimsy or cheap but for the most part they are holding. The price is a big thing, when i received this tent it was almost $100 which seamed alot for a 1 person tent. over all I would recommend the tent if you can afford it. UPDATE: the tent has dropped in price by 40% so at that price I would recommend this tent defenitly.

Good basic tent - Mountain Summit Gear Campside Dome Tent
This tent is basic but a perfectly good option if you want an inexpensive tent. It's very lightweight, which is a plus if you have to carry it far. I don't know how well it will hold up in the long term. I'll know in a few years. It's well-constructed for sure. I haven't had it up in heavy rain yet so I don't know if any moisture might seep in., I make it a habit to treat the seams of my new tents with waterproofing before I use them for the first time. It's great insurance for little cost and effort. This one is supposed to fit four people, but every tent I have ever had if overly optimistic on that point. Technically you CAN fit the number of people they claim, but you will be packed in side by side and having to step over each other. If this is your first tent purchase keep that in mind. All my tents, both expensive name brands and off brands are the same in that respect. I always buy a four person tent for two people to be comfortable and have room to move and stow clothes and gear. This tent is a good option.

Well built, kinda lightweight BUT 4 person?
I like this tent it is well built, the seams are sealed very well and I expect it will last for quite some time.My reasoning for a 4-star rating is that this is not what I would consider a 4-person tent by any stretch of the imagination. That is unless they considered 4-people to be kids.At best this will handle three adults (if you are all friendly) without gear and 2 adults with some gear stored in the tent.It is lightweight enough so no issues there, although I think if I were a backpacker I think I would opt for something lighter and most likely smaller. I am not a backpacker so I might be way off on that observation. This tent is in my gear bag and I will use it a lot over the spring and summer with no more than 2 people and gear anything more will be just a bit to cramped for my likes.

Well-made, good quality tent, but not big enough for 6 people.
The Dome Tent by Mountain Summit, is a very nicely made tent that’s kind of generic, but very functional for the right numbers. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – It’s a nicely made tent that appears to have good materials, leading me to believe it should last for a long time. It’s not the best quality I’ve seen, but still in the upper-middle range of the quality scale.II. Performance – The functionality is great once its assembled, but the assemble can be a little difficult. It uses plastic hooks to hold the bars, that seem weaker then desired and may be problematic down the road. The zippers work good and it’s been weather proof as much as you can expect. The size however is exaggerated to me. The six-person tent could technically maybe fit 6 people inside, but not anywhere near comfortable. I would say maybe a family of 4 if 2 are kids at most or you just want to lay right next to each other like sardinesOverall, this is a nice tent to use if you have the right size expectations and don’t expect anything to be unique about it. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

I just wish this fly cover, covered the whole tent
I like how it has the directions on the bag, I just wished the fly went to the ground. This is where you get leaks when it rains. Will test this out soon, will update post.

Nice basic dome tent that's easy to assemble
Assembly:It takes approximately 7 minutes to have this tent up and ready to go.Water resistance:Good, but heavy rains will deep through at times.Wind resistance:This tend is stable in winds up to 15 mph. Above that, and it tents to catch the wind pretty bad.Portable:When in the storage bag, this tend is small enough to tether to the back of my backpack.Lightweight:For it's size, this tent weighs very little.Overall:This tent is perfectly fine for campsite camping, and good weather days when you're at a well shield site.4 stars
