Does what it says! Great and simple portable safe. We use it camping. Change the lock to a better lock, but watch out as the hole diameter is only ~ 6.2mmCable is short enough to make it hard if someone tried to get at it, but this also make it a bit akward to get around a pipe in a tight space. Can fit phones, wallets, kindles etc, but you would need the 12l for an SLR or larger tablet. We left our phones charging on long cables inside the bag.Great in the tent over night or for a short absence, but would use it in the car for any longer absence.

I love using this little "travel safe".It gives added peace of mind when leaving items of value in hotel rooms or inside a vehicle. IMO, it is strong enough to deter opportunity thieves, such as room maids, from grabbing your stuff, but can also be attached to part of your car seat, again to deter smash and grabbers from making a quick hit.This 5l unit can actually house my MacBook retina 13" if on its own, but cannot close properly using the wire, so ends up being used for smaller items such as cameras and watches. The larger laptop bag is apparently huge, so perhaps not ideal for all travel needs.

Purchased for a trip to Madagascar and came in extremely useful in a number of lower class hotels and whilst on the road. The combination of this and a couple of steel lockable wires did the trick to secure our valuables and cash. As others have said, this safe is surprisingly roomy and easily took my iPad mini, a bridge camera, two smartphones and a wad of banknotes with room to spare. Had a problem with the first travel safe received (the padlock had already been set to an unknown combination) and it took some emails and phone calls to get the seller to agree to send a replacement, but wouldn't be without it now for adventure holidays. Takes up very little room when empty too.

Wow what can I say, to be honest until recently when I was carrying out some "research" on the internet I didn't know these types of bags existed. What a brilliant idea though! Just back from our annual vacation and suffice to say it was so easy to leave our Kindle, iPad, Phones, wallet etc safely locked away when taking a dip, or even safely stowed in the hotel room. Easy to set up the lock to use and would happily recommend this product to anyone thinking about keeping their valuables safe when travelling.

This is an excellent item and on a recent holiday gave us the peace of mind to wander off from our stuff on the beach to swim etc without constantly craning my neck to see if our belongings were safe. It seems very sturdy the only weak link I can see as has been mentioned previously is the 3 number combination lock, 4 would've been better. For what I bought it for though which was the beach this is adequate to stop an opportunist stealing your wallet or phone. The 5l can easily fit all your small items but if you're thinking about using it for larger laptops etc the next size up would be needed.

Used it in our airbnb apartment as they had no safe and needed to leave cash and a few electronic items, attached to a sturdy pipe and felt that it gave us peace of mind for the opportunist thief, if they came with bolt croppers I'm not so sure.

Very Good travel safe have used it on holidays this year was very useful for securing passport and money can get a surprising amount in it also the quality of the bag is first class, only down side is the price is a bit steep but worth it if you intend to use it a lot would recommend on getting a stronger pad lock as the one supplied is only a three dial one and apparently easy to unlock, but would recommend.
