Looks just like the real thing! Great fun but can’t bake much with it
I have the Kenwood Chef Titanium so when I saw this I couldn’t resist getting it for my toddler! It was £11 when I bought it, which was excellent value. It is a perfect match to mine and he was so excited with it. The lift up machanism is manual, the “switch” is just for show, but that is probably just as well because he’s heavy handed. I love the fact it comes with a handle to place in the top & use it manually. The mixer really isn’t up to cooking much, it is not strong enough to get through the average thickness cake mixture. However it is great fun and I have made cookies with my toddler, taking the bowl out and using a spoon to finish it off. It is stronger if you use the handle rather than the electric motor, but that is fun just for play. Considering it cost less than the equivalent Argos tat it really is a good toy and the novelty value of it being the same as mums is great.

Winner winner
Arrived when expected. Easy to collect. This gift was really loved by grandson who's rising 5, and his share excitement when he realised it actually worked was joyous to watch. He was putting everything and any thing into his mixing bowl. He made ice-cream lollies. He loved using the different mixing hooks. He really did have a happy Christmas. I would definitely recommend

Happy buyer
Really like this product, pretty sturdy although I think there is scope for the whisk/beater to be fairly easily broken as it can be a bit fiddly for little fingers to get them into the slot. It takes a bit of effort to lift up the arm and get it down again which has meant a bit of spillage when my son tries to do it himself as it needs to be held tightly whilst you do this action. We did make some biscuit mix using one of the accompanying recipes but the mixtures need to be really loose for the machine to cope with beating the ingredients. Overall very happy and my son likes playing with it.

Nice Toy
It is a very nice toy, there is a protection - children can not smash their fingers while the mixer is working. It can just mix liquid things - eggs, or some creamy stuff -> it is not strong enough to mix cookie doughs, or oat meals etc.The design is very cute and children like it.

Just low speed on ours
The media could not be loaded. Ours doesn't have two speeds, it only has low speed and when you want to go high speed it stops completely so we only have low speed so we can't try the recipes. we are disappointed otherwise it is a wonderful mixer and a perfect gift for those who like the real kenwood mixer.

Money well spent!
This sturdy mini Kenwood Chef is definitely money well spent. My 2yr old grandson loves cooking and he is absolutely mesmerised by this mixer. It's ideal for whisking rice crispies and crunched up shredded wheat, nothing too solid as the 'beaters' are very pliable just in case small hands get caught. It has a 'crank' handle on the top for manual whisking otherwise the battery is sufficient. We make imaginary meringue (warm water with a drop of washing up liquid) but this weeks cookathon was Angel Delight. He was giddy with excitement that he could actually eat it. I would recommend to anyone with a child interested in cooking.

Fabulous
The best present ever for my 5 year old grand daughter. Yesterday we ate her home made iced chocolate cake. And she made it just like mum. This mixer works!! Looks like the real thing and has been delightfulfor the little cook. A real joy for all concerned.

Too weak
Sturdy, Nice finish. However the whisking is to weak to be used for other than very liquid bakery. You can't make any dough in this machine, not even a little.
