Excellent for windshield wiper arms
I had to get the wiper arms off my car to check something under the cowl, and this is the perfect tool for the job. At first you think you're going to break the arm or something else, but after a few turns it just pops the arm right off. Excellent little tool to have in the garage.

Worked as intended to remove right wiper arm from a 2001 Corvette.
This tool worked as intended to remove the passenger side wiper arm from my 2001 Corvette. I understand the concerns in other reviews about it not being rugged enough but for my very infrequent use, the tool worked fine. I did use Kroil penetrating oil for four days before attempting to remove the arm, but I'm not sure if it was needed. The integral T handle had enough leverage that it was not necessary to use a wrench to turn it. The wiper arm had probably been on for about 22 years. The GM shop manual gives the correct allignment technique. I suggest you carefully review the procedure (as I did) prior to removing an arm and I hope your procedure goes as smoothly as mine did.

Does what it says on the tin
Not a high quality tool but it works fine and for the price you can’t beat it.So it gets five stars anyway because it keeps working just fine.

This product broke as soon as I took it out of the package. I ended up just taking my car to the shop.

Not that heavy duty
It worked ok to pull the wiper, but had to crank on it to the point that the small bar bent.

Weak crank arm
The claws don't grasp well, so it can slip off the arm you are pulling, and the screw is difficult to apply torque to because the unit uses a super thin and short arm that digs into your hands. The arm bends, then, and gets jammed. I recommend replacing the little pin crank thing with a hex head that I can attach to a socket or a wrench. 12mm ought to do it (that way, a 1/2 inch might also work).

No issue removing the rear wiper harm of my Tucson.The tool, contrary to some reviews, is well-built and it is solid.Completely satisfied with the purchase.I read all reviews prior to buying anything on Amazon, I found that of the negative only 3 to5% are caused by real defect on the products. I do not believe that vendors want to cheat purchasers, especially on Amazon. The rest of the negative reviews either come from someone who cannot find how to use the product or come from competitors ..but those I learnt to spot right away.
