Project Gotham Racing 3 (Xbox 360)

If you are remotely interested in racing games or simply just the cars, then you will adore this game. Both the exotic array of cars and extensive maps have been recreated in breathtaking realism.I have had the fortune of driving some of the cars in this game, such as the Ferrari 360 and Skyline GTR, and believe me they have the looks (both interior and exterior) and the sounds matched perfectly. Every car produces it's own unique sound identical to the real thing and this alters depending where the camera is around the car. Some cars produce more noise inside the cockpit, others produce more from the exhausts. You can even hear the whistling of the turbos inside the cars that have them.The handling and performance is also extremely realistic, with just the right balance of skill required to master each class of car and map.Surround sound is awesome with this - if you see a car in your rear view mirror, then you will also hear that car behind you. Go inside the cockpit and if it's a rear engined car, the engine noise comes from behind - AMAZING!The game also has long-lasting appeal with split screen playability, a plentiful selection of challenging single player games as well as the excellent XBox Live to take on the world.This is quite simply a must buy for anyone with an XBox 360.

fairly good for a racing game

It's obviously a matter of opinion, but for me Project Gotham (both) was about driving cars like the Mini Cooper S around tight tracks like Florence. I've only had it for a few days but PGR3 just isn't the same. In fact I was so disappointed that I even opened the booklet inside the case to see how to find the "slow" cars. Unfortunately, to my horror, I found that cars with a top speed of under 170mph just aren't considered to be fast enough. Sorry but they've lost the plot - If I wanted to race fast cars that do all the work for you I'd have bought a PS2. Don't get me wrong this game is pretty (although, without HD I actually thought it looked a little worse than PGR2), but if you're expecting PGR2 with superb visuals you ARE going to be disappointed.The earlier Project Gothams seem like very "English" games, PGR3 seems very "American:" It's all fast, shiny cars. Even London looks American and the game play is shot (Yes! I did spell that correctly). The interior view of the car is left hand drive, what does that tell you! (I haven't looked for an option to change it yet but I'm not holding my breath). It is pretty, I'm sure it'll be great for many people, but if you're a big for of the earlier PGRs, make sure you give it a proper trial before you spend...

One of the greatest racing games I've ever played and I've played a few !!But this one really stands the test of time, the playability is just immense and still looks amazing in HD a full ten years after it was originally released.A bargain at the price too !If you haven't played this before, for less than a fiver, you just cannot go wrong!Stop reading this and get it ordered.

TERRIBLE!I would strongly advise everyone to go somewhere else.Paid for a game which never received. Waited weeks and weeks, and every time the answer from this seller the same, wait more. Appaling customer service.Zoverstocks, never again. It happen to me more than once I had to wait weeks, this time I never got the item at all.I rather pay a bit more.

I don't really know what happened with this one; it looks nice enough but the twitchy, non-analogue feeling steering and some strange glitches mean it's a confusingly poor sequel to PGR2, one of the best racing games of all time.

Super game. One of the Xbox best. Really entertaining. Plenty of game play hours to be wild away.A must have in any gaming collection.

El juego vino sin precinto original , estaba en un sobre transparente , les cuesta reconocer el error y dan excusas y encima te hacen sentir a ti el culpable , cuando yo esperaba el juego en su embalaje oficial como debe ser. Además casualmente estoy observando ahora , que no soy el único cliente a quien le ha sucedido , viendo otro comentario que le paso justamente lo mismo que a mi. Soy un cliente que compra muchísimo en amazon , y nunca he tenido problemas. Y lo peor de todo es la respuesta poco profesional cuestionando tu palabra aún mandandoles varias fotos . Muy decepcionado
