Amazing for creative young minds

My daughter asked for this for her birthday but I’ve been disappointed with the toy. The pens are meant to be washable but they are felt tips and the mermaid and accessories are all plastic so although she can colour on them, the ink never dries so this is messy and smeary. The ink wipe straight off the dolls body, top and mermaid skirt regardless of how long you leave the ink to dry so can be cleaned with a finger, tissue or baby wipe. The spiral hair accessory also just weaves into the hair with no way to secure it so falls straight out again. My daughter likes it which is the main thing but I think that there are better ‘decorate your own’ toys on the market and think this is a waste of money.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and I think she will be so happy and love it. I thought it was good value for money and it’s not just a one use gift as you can wash the pen off and start again.

My friends little girl was made up with this. She played with it straight away and enjoyed colouring her hair in. Great inexpensive little gift or wrap up!
