What can I say. I honestly expected it to be just a small piece of equipment that I just buy once and don't have to think about it ever gain. And I expected this thing to at least "don't suck". I was even saying to my wife "It's the most simple piece of gear, how can it ever be that bad?". But it amazes me how terrible it is. First, the ball doesn't work. I put my camera (Sony a6400 with 16mm Sigma lens) on, tighten it as much as I could, and it still flops. Second, the cold-shoe mount has this 2 notches/prongy things that make it not sit flat when screwed onto a camera. So now not only it can't hold a small camera, the mount even damages it. I honestly find it funny. I got to eat my own word. It is THAT bad.UPDATE : Neewer's customer service emailed me to resolve the problem with the faulty product I got. They offered to send a replacement free of charge, and was very understanding and kind may I add. I wasn't so happy with the product that I bought, but I am willing to overlook that just because the customer service was so good.

For each mount you get a 1/4inch grub screw and 2 different size allen keys(the smaller allen key fits the 1/4" grub screw and the bigger allen key is meant to fit the bolt which holds the bottom cold shoe mount on).I really like how versatile these mounts are, you can unscrew the top part of the ball head mount and flip it over so you can mount things with a 1/4" threaded hole or a cold shoe mount.You can also unbolt the bottom part of the ball head mount and take the cold shoe adapter off, which allows you to mount it to tripods with a 1/4" thread.The included 1/4" grub screw screws into the bottom of the mount instead of the cold shoe adapter so you can attach it to things with a 1/4" threaded hole.The overall quality of this product is very good and it feels durable. The only thing that lets it down slightly is that the bottom bolt isn't machined very well(I have included a picture of what I mean by this). The allen key slot is machined off center on the head of the bolt and the allen key slot doesn't seem to be machined big enough as the allen key barely fits. It fits in just enough to undo the bolt but only the very tip of the allen key engages with the bolt.Overall I will give the product 4 stars because even though the quality of the bottom bolt lets it down slightly the product still functions very well and the rest of the mount seems to be machined very well.

I use this on top of my DSLR for external monitor, great job , also my go pro.

This works very well.My only gripe is that it's a bit tall - could potentially be an issue when fitting the camera into small areas.very easy to mount and install on top of your existing camera Cold shoe. Helps the light clear the barrel of the lens for longer lenses too.

This is another example of how fantastic the NEEWER range really is. As someone who also dabbles in content creation, any tool that can help improve lighting or camera setups are invaluable and these offer incredible versatility to any setup at all. Both are incredibly well made, the build quality is higher than the asking price suggests in my opinion. Strong and sturdy, these will enable any position necessary for lighting or camera rigs. Very impressed with this product.

I bought these and use far more than I intended to. They have come in handy so many times. I use them mostly for smaller lights but have been useful in a number of other situations as well. They work wonders for my use case. I reach for them often and they haven't failed me yet. The quality seem top as well, all metal and sturdy. Neewer has some really economical products for the video and camer world.

This is a great product, and a fantastic value. The fit and finish are even better in person, than the product photos. The color is a bit darker in real life which I actually prefer.I intend to use this with my Profoto A10x flashes, along with the Profoto Clic Magnum for getting shots with hard specular light, or for use as a kicker light.I was previously using a Manfrotto umbrella adapter which was probably 4 times the size and weight, and required me to screw on the cold shoe foot that comes with the speedlight; which was bulky and tedious. This is really slick.

Tomando en cuenta su uso, es muuuy útil resistente y bonito, muy adaptable3a diversas necesidades.De su resistencia es muy bueno, más si le pones una cámara profesional encima (no respondo chipote con sangre) para una luz de buen tamaño perfecto para un móvil, sin problema, para cosas no muy pesadas también, sólo tratarlo con su debida precaución ya que ñas cosas que yraen perillas y tornillos sinlas forzas se barren (todas) . el tamaño es mediano no muy pequeño pero lo suficiente para su buen desempeño, hay otrosas económicos pero te aseguro que no te darán las posibilidades de acomodar como éste. Si estás leyendo esto es porque lo ocupas, cómpralo no te vas a arrepentir. 😎👍

This ball head is an excellent attachment for a boom arm. It has an adapter to fit two different sizes. If you are someone who uses a mobile and a boom arm to shoot your video, it is perfect, The ball head is easy to release and adjust. I definitely recommend this item.

Funziona molto bene, piccolo e di ottima fattura, ben rifinito in metallo solido con un peso discreto, anelli in gomma per proteggere l'attrezzatura dai graffi circolari, molto versatile, poichè la base si puo' smontare con la relativa chiave e avvitare direttamente su un treppiedi o stativo o inserendo la vite fornita da 1/4 a qualsiasi altro supporto o dispositivo, la testa si puo anch'essa smontare e capovolgere per adattarsi a qualsiasi dispositivo, insomma stupendo, arrivato nello scatolino sigillato ed anche avvolto nella plastica, veramente un ottimo imballaggio, lo consiglio.
