Grandson loved it
My grandson loves playing in the kitchen, so this is a great addition to his toy kitchen. I did deduct a star as the plastic plate in the microwave falls out alot.

Great when works
It was great until turntable stopped working after 10 months and we didn't use it that much

Great toy but
The rotating of the plate inside stopped working aster a few hours. Now have to re align the mechanism every so often, as didn’t keep the box to return

Bought this in 2015!
This play microwave has been going since 2015.All 7 of my grandchildren love playing with it.I did decide this year that I would glue the turntable in, because it would get lost in the toy boxes. Can be a little loud, but we get used to the nose.Light flashes, table turns, beeps when it stops.Good size too.To still be working after all this time, is real value for money.I also look after a 2 year old autistic child, and he loves it.He always puts it on its back.

Realistic.
I think my granddaughter will love this for her third birthday. It looks sturdy and realistic. I am sure she will enjoy presenting the family with her creations from it when it pings.

Ding... Dinner is Ready
I purchased this toy microwave for my niece on her second birthday and it was an absolute hit. She absolutely loved it and spent most of the remainder of the day "cooking" and serving everyone plastic foodstuffs and then shouting at them for not finishing!I cannot state enough how much my niece loved this toy... However there were a few that could have been a little easier for the adults in the room when it was opened.First and foremost the microwave was "well packaged" and by well packaged I mean near impossible to get out of the box. We ended up resorting to a pair of scissors, a small kitchen knife and completely destroying the box before we could get our hands on the toy.Second was the battery compartment which required an incredibly small star head screwdriver to open (we used one from a glasses repair kit). Now I understand that you don't want young children getting at the batteries or you don't want them to fly out when the toy is dropped but a normal sized star head screw would have worked just as well as the incredibly small ones.To sum up: Absolutely awesome for the kids, a little difficult for the adults but well worth it.

Ace toy, really realistic, brilliant for that toddler who wants to play with your kitchen appliances
My son has just turned two and has an obsession with opening & closing doors. He also gets cross when I don't let him play with the real microwave/kettle etc which he is desperate to do. This, then, is the perfect toy & he cried when I parted him from it to get him changed (we've only had it out one day). The microwave makes different noises when it is 'on' if you press oven & defrost noises, it dings when it finishes, the little plate spins around inside (a tiny bit fiddly to get the plate on the rotating thing - just like a real microwave ;) ) and there's a light at the back which is on when it's going round. You can change the 'display' unit to say what's cooking at the top, and little buttons on the outside flash as if it's cooking. There are also other buttons & knobs you can push & rotate - I haven't figured out the full functionality. It comes with a pretend potato, spaghetti bolanaise, pizza (with 1 quarter cut out) and chicken - all plastic. This toy is a total winner in my book - I see hours of fun (hopefully will allow me to get on and cook in the kitchen while he plays next to me)
